“You called for me.” Alina’s voice pulled me out of my reverie. I pulled my attention away from the two and focused them into the sly witch. There was a hint of teasing smile from her lips when I faced her.

“I need you to do something for me.”

“That’s been taken care of.” She said as her eyes focused on where my attention was before. She was staring at her in amusement. “The potion I gave her will last a couple of months.”

I frowned, annoyed at her for not always giving detailed information. “How many exactly?”

She shrugs, crossing her arms. “I can’t tell. Just be careful not to overdo it.” She looks at me with a playful grin.

I growled. “Alina.”

She chuckles. “What I need you to do, Alpha, is to make decisions that you will not regret.”

“Stop being cryptic.” I warned, not happy with her ambiguous nature.

“I wasn’t. This applies to every decision you’re making.” Her lips were lifted upwards almost smiling but her face held a solemn expression which made me think that she knew somethi

Nasrin“Ah!” I closed my eyes in pain and frustration. I have lost count how many times I was thrown on the ground today. Katarina was not happy about it. It seems like my performance was deteriorating– my focus on training that is.“Seriously… What's wrong with you? You’ve been distracted lately. And you were getting better, you know.” Caleb said while looking down on me, his hands on his hips. His huge form was covering the sunlight that hit me. How could I tell him that their Alpha was living rent free in my head? It’s either he’s in my mind or he made me late for morning training because he would devour me like a beast every damn night. I’m just bewildered at how things took a turn for us. He used to despise me. I remembered how he humiliated me, how he treated me before. After everything that he did to me, I was unable to be mad at him or hate him. And everytime he seduces me, I can't seem to deny him too. There’s something about him that would lure me to submit to him. And eve

I watched everyone train from afar. It’s a miracle Katarina never reprimanded me for my absence. She never looked for me either. I have a feeling that it’s because my relationship with their Alpha improved. Their stares that were filled with detest had changed into that of respect. Caleb’s words echoed in my mind. Maybe the Alpha really was accepting me as his mate. I’m not sure what to feel about that. He used to hate my guts and now, everything turned to 180. And I couldn’t help but feel the butterflies in my stomach fluttering. I’ve never been adored by a man like that. “Rin.” A familiar voice pulled me out of my reverie. Eliana smiled at me as she stood to my side, joining me in watching the warriors train. I haven’t seen her ever since the party.“Hi, Eliana. How are you?” I asked, seemingly interested at the times we haven’t seen each other. She grins at me before speaking. “I’m actually busy learning how to cook recently. Callum’s mom is teaching me. What about you? You’ve be

His rage made me tremble in fear. He stomped his way towards me, grabbing my jaw with his hand. His face loomed over mine as my heart beat deafeningly loud. “And why the fuck do you smell like him?”I whimper, feeling the pain of his grip. “I…” I tried to explain but my fear of him was consuming me. “Please…” I begged as my eyes watered. His grip loosened but his hand slid down to my neck and held me there. He pushed me against the door, the force made the door slammed shut behind me. The loud bang made me flinch. My back hurt from the impact.“You are mine!” He roared.“A-always.” I rasped in the midst of his hold. My answer calmed him down. His hold finally loosened as his hand went back to his side. I quickly tried to explain to appease him. “Caleb’s mom invited me for dinner.”“The scent.” He spat with venom.“He walked me home. We reconciled.” I said breathlessly. His face was emotionless, anger simmering down but slowly.“Are you guilty?” He asked monotonously.“For what?” I r

Nasrin “Gotta say, baby girl. I’ve missed you.” Katarina showed me a teasing smirk as she crossed her arms. “And for someone who had not been training with us for weeks, you sure kept your skills.” I blushed at her comment, peering at her shyly. I started coming back training with them yesterday. I begged the Alpha to be easy on me since I wanted to join them again. Unexpectedly, I’ve missed sparring with them. They were pretty helpful with my progress too since they’d teach me what I was lacking. I also realized that getting my physical strength really helped me overcome my illness. He got annoyed with my request. I swear I noticed that he was controlling himself not to throw tantrums. In order to appease his emotions, he didn’t let me leave his side and instead of working, he spent all day either inside me or holding me in his arms. I find it hard to believe that a cold man like him would act that way. “Of course, as a warrior, you still have a long way to go. But you don’t ne

CalebThe room was quiet, only the sound of our breathing could be heard. The mood was gloomy and heavy after the Alpha released an order for us three, Beta, Gamma and me, the Delta. The three of us stared at him in disbelief and skepticism. Ever the bravest one to question our Alpha, Katarina voiced out the said uncertainty.“Are you sure about this, Alpha?” The Gamma always has a stern look on her face. The warriors of this pack always respected her because of her cold and strict nature. It was why our Alpha entrusted her in training the warriors. But that stern look had cracked ever since he gave me a mission that would put us to doom. The Beta and I both eyed him in full of obvious concerns, especially me– after everything that happened recently. It’s hard to believe that he would do something like this. Our Alpha only looked at us with a cold unreadable look on his face. He had not shown concern even a single bit.His sharp eyes shifted to me and spoke with firmness. “Go.” My e

NasrinMy mind was in a mess as I walked through the forest beyond Dark Moon’s territory. And the wayward Alpha has filled my mind completely. I’m a mush when it comes to him. I don't know when or how I have come to fall for him, to let him consume like I was his fully and completely. Even though my mind tells me to run and never look back, I walk slowly and hesitantly. My heart reached out to Lucan. I feel like it was wrong to suddenly leave him. Will he let me go though if I told him I wanted to go home? Probably not. That’s why I escaped in the first place. But I promise to come back. And I will. I really will. I just need to sort out everything. I need to say goodbye to my friends… my family. Will they care if I leave? My mind was filled with these random thoughts as I walked for a long time. I don’t know what time it was or how long I have walked as I remembered Caleb’s instructions. As soon as I reach the lake, there will be a path visible that will lead to the highway. That

I paused, looking at my dad. Perhaps there was a side of him that understood what I meant. “I… I only spoke what I saw. They were only angry that you attacked their homes.”“You really need a history lesson, sis.” Serene said. A bitter smile on her painted lips. “Our enmity goes way back. We didn’t attack them just randomly.” She rolled her eyes. “If you so like them so much, I’m sure we won’t stop you from going back to them. That’s one way to ease our burden.”“Serene.” Sky warned her. I noticed my dad was holding back a smile on his lips. His lips twitched as soon as my eyes landed on them.“There’s no way to talk to your sister like that, Serene.” All of them had a shocked look on their faces as they stared at dad who suddenly defended me. Serene couldn’t believe that he would chastise her for me. I was dumbfounded too.“Tell me, Nasrin. If they took you as a means for revenge, did they plan how to exact it? I am sure they are brewing ways to attack us.” Dad continued. Mom nodded

“No.”“What did you say?” There was a low guttural sound in dad’s voice, obvious that he was mad at my answer.I abruptly stand, and for the first time, I seem to have the confidence to face them firmly. “I said no.” Dad gritted his teeth, scowling at me. His glare could pierce straight to my heart if it was a real dagger. “I would never betray them. You see them as monsters but I don’t.”“You little-” Dad rose to his feet in anger. “You insolent fool. Serene was right. They have poisoned your mind. How dare you defend those savage beasts. They have killed a lot of our people and you… you protect them! If they will come for us and kill us, blood will be in your hands and I will make sure to come back and kill you myself!” My dad spat with immense rage. The hatred in his eyes has come to surface– the hatred that was only directed to me.My eyes widened in fear. My confidence disappeared into thin air in a split second.“Dad!” Sky stood as she eyed our father in disbelief. “How could yo

I was shocked at this revelation. What was the moon goddess thinking of pairing the Alpha to a traitor but then turned out they were never meant to be?“How is that possible? The goddess pairs her children for a reason.”Rin shrugs in response. “Believe me, I had asked the same question. She told me that I was different. The two of us created a bond etched into our very souls. She said that the moon goddess somehow favored me.”My frown deepened as I tried to process this. “I don’t think that answers the question. Does that mean Alpha Lucan was never meant to be with his mate from the start? If you had not come into his life, would he have remained mateless.” I said, piecing everything together.Rin looked at me, her eyes reflecting a myriad of emotions, but she offered no response. The silence hung heavy between us.

“How is that possible, Alina?” Rin voiced out, curling her hand tighter around her mate’s arm.Alina stole a glance at me and then back at the couple before us. “Anything is possible, my Luna.” Alina calmly answered. “And though I like to answer that question according to what you seek, I always do not have an answer to everything. For that, I am sorry.”After that fiasco in the Alpha's office, Lady Alina could have teleported back to her cottage. Surprisingly, she took my offer in escorting her back to her home.Alpha Lucan was still angry and dejected about it and Rin was still consoling him. I don’t know if she just accepted what happened or that the Alpha’s intense emotions overwhelmed her.“Tell me, Lady Alina. Do you really not know why I was mated to their daughter?”I made sure that we were further away from the pack and nearing her cottage before I asked that question. I didn’t want to risk anyone hearing it.“Of course, I know, Delta. I just didn’t want to let them know the

CalebThe Alpha’s daughter is my mate.Yes, that’s right. Nasrin’s daughter– my friend’s daughter. I don’t know why the moon goddess did this to me– why she made my friend’s daughter my mate. For goddess' sake, she’s like a daughter to me.I remember the first time our eyes met when I held her. There was a strange connection that I couldn't get at first. Eventually, I realized the connection was actually a bond– a mate bond.My emotions were a rollercoaster when I realized what it meant. I didn’t know how it was possible that I could feel it on a pup. A fucking baby!I didn’t know if I should be happy that I finally found my mate. Fate was fucking cruel. After that encounter, I was conflicted. I didn’t know what to do. I envisioned the future here in this pack as she grows older. I can imagine myself suffering, watching her grow into a beautiful fine lady. I could only watch her from afar and fight the matebond. Fighting is the only thing that I could possibly do. What would they t

It had been a few months after the successful celebration and the introduction of the twins to the pack with Apollo as the future Alpha of the pack. There was dancing, singing and a huge bonfire for the crowd. The flow of the drinks and food were never ending. And to my surprise, Lucan invited the Alphas who had been loyal to him ever since. That included my sister's mate. I was so happy she and her mate were able to attend the party. It’s not like he had a choice on the matter. The Alphas really made their presence known. As Lucan would say, they were always breathing down his neck. Either way, Lucan really made sure to spare no expense on the party. “Fucking finally.” Lucan growled lowly, relieving a sigh as he watched me put down our son beside his already sleeping sister. I glared at him. “How long have you been standing there?” I didn’t notice him standing in the doorway of the twins’ bedroom until he spoke. He shrugs, “I was waiting for them to finally fall asleep.” He str

A few days later, Lucan finally allowed my friends to visit me and the twins. My room was chaotic. They brought food, flowers and gifts for me. The room was filled with our chatter and laughter. I was surprised that the twins didn't mind being passed around like they were dolls. Rose scolded them a couple times for doing that but I understand that they couldn't help it. It wasn't only them that felt excited about their birth, it was the whole Blood Moon that celebrated. Lucan still didn't allow them to see our son and daughter. He wanted me to completely rest first. Rose already planned for the party once Lucan is convinced I'm fine. It was evening and everyone had already returned to their work. I heard a knock on my door. I expected it to be Rose bringing my dinner. I was surprised that it was Caleb that brought it for me. "I thought for sure you wouldn't visit me, Caleb," I teased. He laughs, placing my dinner on the side of my bed. "I was busy with work. I couldn't join the o

“Because I was ashamed." Tears fell from her eyes as she confessed. "I didn't know how to face you so I begged Alpha Lucan not to let you know. I'm sorry, Rin. I'm sorry for being so selfish.""No, no. You don't have to be ashamed. You saved me. You risked your life for me. Why do you feel ashamed?" I cried."Come on, Rin. I could have saved you countless times when they tried to torment you. You were sick and alone and no one to lean on. I just stood by and watched. I was no better than them. I don't even deserve to be here with you but my mate convinced me to face the only family I have left.""Then it's good that you listened to him. You have no idea how hurt I am when I learned about your death. I cherished you so much, Sky. You might have not helped me back then but you always never fail to let me feel that you're there for me. NasrinThe whole packhouse was in chaos when they heard my water broke and finally in my labor. Everyone was either excited or panicked– like my wayward Alpha for example. He was a mess. If I wasn’t the one who was in labor, I would’ve laughed at him.He didn’t look like the calm arrogant Alpha. He was anxious, fidgety and a whole lot of nervous.“I’ll be fine.” I squeezed his hand in assurance. I was trying to look fine even though I winced at the pain once in a while. He didn’t buy my words. He was extremely worried. He had called Alina to make sure everything was going to be fine. I didn’t object, especially knowing that my twins are not normal Alphas. She had told me that the delivery will be fine as long as I take care of myself while carrying the twins. And I did. Lucan made sure I did, too. I was always his priority the whole time. He was willing to leave his work for me. That’s why I was confident that I’d deliver the twins safely. “I’ll stop worrying when the pups are out a

We held our meeting in my office. He only updated me on the current events of the company right now. As usual, it was doing great and only had minor problems.Nasrin was with me during the meeting. She was sitting on the couch where we made the twins. When she learned that she's pregnant, the image of us on the couch made her extremely embarrassed every time she sat there. She always remembers it, especially that there was growing evidence on her belly. Aside from being able to watch over her there, I also wanted her to know the ins and outs of the pack, including the company that I let Roman run. Surprisingly, Nasrin was doing great being the Luna of Blood Moon. She was level headed and intelligent. She easily understood everything going on in the pack. She's relaxed and catches on real quick. And I love that she's cool and not quick to anger. It was so opposite of me.As much as I want to say it's because I'm an Alpha, I knew it was just my personality. It became worse when I lost

“You look like you're about to pop.” Caleb commented on Nasrin teasingly as I watched both of them interact in the living room of our packhouse. Ever since Nasrin and I got back together, I didn’t find the need to be jealous of my Delta’s care for my mate. It took a while for me to finally let go of that feeling but I understood that he just cares for her as a close friend. Although I can’t help but feel jealous at times. Nasrin is kind to everyone and she treats them equally with care and compassion. It’s probably one of the reasons why I find her so endearing. She chuckles at his comment. “I know. I look like I’m more than nine months pregnant. Alina said it’s because of the twins. They really tire me out.” She sighs heavily, leaning her head on the backrest of the couch. My heart aches for her. I wanted her pregnancy to be planned. She was in her early twenties. I wanted her to have time for herself. She has a lot to learn in this pack, as a wolf and as a Luna. Also, I wanted
