Can't Remember Anything

Yillan woke up, feeling a little dizzy and with a slight ache in her stomach. She then glanced at the clock…

"Oh my! What time it is?! I'm late, Oh no…"

She quickly went out of the bedroom and went to the kitchen.

"You're awake? How are you feeling?" 

 Auntie Tess asked while handing her water. 

"Thank you, Auntie Tess. My stomach hurts and I still feel a little dizzy."

 She replied while holding her stomach.

"It's hangover dear, you drank too much last night. What happened? Why are you so drunk?"

"What Happened?" 

She's thinking hard, trying to recall her memories of what happened last night.

Then suddenly, she tapped the table.

"Auntie Tess, how did I get home?"

"You don't remember?”

Some waitress called using your cellphone telling us that you were drunk and sleeping inside the bar, so I came to pick you up."

Zai’s request, granted.

"Oh! I'm sorry for the trouble, Auntie Tess, and Thank you very much. mwah 2x "

She said while she kissed Auntie Tess’ cheek and acted sweet.

"But, I really don't remember what happened last night? My last memory was going to the comfort room. Then however how hard I think, I still can't recall anything after that."

She then sat on one of the chairs and swiped her palm in her face.

"Oh! My head hurts so much"

"How can you remember it, you fell asleep soundly in the arms of a man,"  Auntie Tess thought.

She really wanted to tell her but she also agreed to Zai's request to conceal it.

"Here's the medicine for hangovers, drink it and eat breakfast, you're already late. Don’t you have to go to work?”

"Oh my! I almost forgot it! 

She took a few bites of the food on the table and just like lightning after a few seconds she's gone.

A few minutes later she was already saying goodbye to Auntie Tess.

"Oh, my!"

 She hurriedly got inside her car and drove.

Her cellphone vibrated, and when she opened it, it was a message from auntie Tess.

*The eldest master called and said he will be arriving this evening from his business trip.*

Her eldest brother went on a business trip a few days ago to Paris and at the same time, he also visited the family there.

Five years ago, Inah decided to study college in Paris while Kian went to New York to pursue his swimming career.

A year later, due to her father's health issue together with her stepmother, they decided to go to Paris to live, and her father was treated there.

Left in the mansion were her and her eldest brother. Her Eldest brother was appointed as the new CEO of the company.

After finishing the two-year course in Management, she started working at Yoon Corporation as his eldest brother's personal assistant and as an event organizer for both company and the family. Hiding her true identity from the employees

She's been busy ever since, but she also felt a little bit of freedom when her family is not around. She can do something she wants, be herself and confidently assist her brother in the company issues. 

As she arrived at the company she hurriedly went inside, her table was inside the CEO’s office.

Even though she's her brother’s Personal Assistance he has his own legit secretary who handles most matters of the company. She is secretary Liza Yen, strict, reliable but a witch when it comes to working.

"Good Morning Secretary Yen" 

She greeted while smiling with hesitation.

"You're late, Ms. Yoon."

She slightly glanced at her, and her eyes went back to what she was doing. Signing documents.

"I'm sorry secretary Yen, I overslept."

She replied while sitting at her table.

"By the way, where have you been last night?"

She asked with an accusing look.

Yillan, while rubbing her nape and not knowing what to say at that moment, just said…

"ah…haha… it's j-just, I was totally drunk and I accidentally slept in the bathroom. when I woke up all of you were already gone, I'm really sorry.."

She stood up and bowed to Sec. Yen as a sign of apology.

"Work out your alcohol tolerance, we may have many more drinking parties to attend"

"Yes! Sec.Yen!" 

She answered and gestured a hand salute.

"By the way, the CEO called and said he will be arriving later in the evening, prepare for tomorrow's meeting"

"Copied ma’am!"

LEE EMPIRE.

A black Bugatti Veyron pulled outside the building entrance, then one tall sexy charming man went out of the car.

All the female employees that were waiting outside to greet them, opened their mouths wide when they saw Louie Ford, the CEO Personal Assistant/Secretary,  in his formal gray-colored business suit like a special dish warmly served for breakfast.

But wait there's more. As Louie opened the car door. All were frozen to see the "main dish" out in the car and it was Lee Empire’s CEO Zairo Lee in his black and white 3 piece suit. He is handsome and attractive but displays a strong and powerful aura.

They walk like a two male God descended from the heavenly realm, all employees bowed as they pass by, they went directly to the company’s private elevator. 

When the elevator door closed, Louie looked at Zai’s face full of curiosity. 

"Wait, you haven’t gotten any sleep? Your eyebags are waving, hello there!"

Zai didn't move, pretending not to hear him. Well, who could sleep well after what happened, he thought.

"You just left me like that last night…" 

He said while leaning his back on the wall.

"Now spill the beans? What happened?”

“What’s your urgent matter or should I say who is your urgent matter to attend to? hmm?" 

He asked while touching his chin, looking really curious.

Zai just didn’t care about him and on his face flashed a “No-care look”

"You don't wanna say it ha? Ok, fine"

 He said and then help up his two hands as if he was surrendering.  

Then in his mind, he thought “I will know it sooner or later hahaha!” He is totally scheming something.

As they reach their floor, they're back to business mode. 

Zai went straight to his private office while Louie is at his own desk.

Knock..knock..knock...

"Come in"   

Zai said, leaning on his chair

"I already arranged your schedule for today, at lunch we will have a meeting with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs regarding our joint project with them. These are the documents needed and all the information about the project" 

"Ok, I'll look into it"

"Oh, by the way, At the bar last night I saw the VP of Zhang Inc. together with the GM of Yoon Corp. according to Mr. Ang they have a project together, but you know The VP is well-known for his dirty tricks in sealing a deal, especially with the female staff.

Really, that bastard made all of the ladies drunk, then held the deal for the project, really a jerk!"

"What are you talking about? It has nothing to do with us" 

He said coldly.

"It had nothing, but I just can't watch it. I really hate men taking advantage of women." 

Louie said while anger was projected in his face.

"Then what are we supposed to do?" Zai asked.

"Let's get some justice, like a superhero. Like Superman!"

He said proudly and posed like superman.

"Then do your work like Superman. Get back to your work Louie"

Zai commanded with a cold stare.

Louie felt like the whole room became an ice age. So, he quickly left.

Left in the room Zai’s face darkened and now he knew the reason behind the "drunk Yillan", he dialed a number and called.

 "I want you to investigate someone and something. I'll send you the details, give me the result as soon as possible"

Then he ended the call.
