“You think you can easily hold me down like this.” His guttural voice speaks again as dark matter comes off his body, pushing against the barrier.

Evelyn struggles to hold him down as her own hands come in front of her, pushing the barrier down. Alex pins his body with his paws, his canines still on his neck, trying to hold him down.

But the dark energy gets too much for them as he flings himself up and Aries lands on his paws a few feet away. He bares his fangs at him as dark blood flows down his mouth, mixed with his own red blood. He snarls at him. A few other also shifts and surrounds him.

“You are mistaken if you think you are enough.” Gerald snarls but a loud growl stops him.

Aries walks out the rose garden with red blood trailing his steps, but his wounds were already healing. He held Althea’s tiny body high up in his arms, tightly, securely.
