The fierce battle stopped after the commander dropped the sword. Altair held the wound in his neck with his hands, fresh blood began to flow between his hands.
Altair sat down on his knees indicating that he had lost the battle. The commander goes to the troops and they shout for his arrival.
Mary ran over and saw the wound on Altair's neck.
"I am alright. Lukaku just got scratched." Altair replied before Mary asked his condition.
Mary took out her handkerchief and smeared some liquid medicine on it, giving the handkerchief to him. Altair accepted and tied a handkerchief around his neck.
Altair knew why he fell to the ground because the Mana magic circle absorbed more energy, making him weak.
Altair's hands began to shake to shake off the shaking all over his body. Altair clasped hands.
“A servant child has the great power of the forefathers.” said the opposing commander of the duel Altair walked over to Altair.
Altair, who saw the arrival of the commander who was approaching him, stood up.
"Why don't we just continue?" asked Altair, who had calmed down and stood up.
“A damaged or broken weapon is a sign that the duel is over.” replied the commander turning around.
"Try again kid. It will still take you 100 years to defeat a troop commander like me.” he added as he walked away leaving Altair and Mary there.
The commander left followed with the troops behind him. The heat in Altair's body had subsided and he left to continue his walk to the library.
"You'd better go to your room to rest," said Mary anxiously.
"It's okay, let's quickly get out of here. There are a lot of things I have to look for there.” Altair replied without looking at Mary.
Mary wanted to help hold Altair's body but she hesitated. Altair walked in front leaving Mary alone. Mary ran to Altair and followed him from behind.
After walking from Duke Onder de's big mansion they walked into a large spacious garden which was only filled with white fairy flowers in a circle, their petals would fly if the wind blew.
Altair and Mary's footsteps also flew the fairy flower petals there. A cool breeze is felt on the skin. As far as the eye can see big trees towering and lush forests with trees.
Mary and Altair saw a towering tower with painted walls that looked old standing firmly. The age of the building must be older than Altair's own age because the tall tower has been standing since their ancestors existed. About 1000 years ago.
“Master, before we enter. I was just reminded that Duke Leon must be there to work and do research. There are several mages who handle the magic power of Mana.” Mary explained anxiously.
"I'm afraid something like this will happen this afternoon, sir." added Mary back with a worried feeling.
“Thank you for your concern, Mary. Take it easy. This time I won't act." Altair replied confidently.
They arrived at the entrance of the tower and were confronted by a giant door measuring about 5 meters high which was tightly closed. Next to the entrance there is a kiln for two burning torches.
Mary opened the door for her master and Altair entered. Mary followed closely behind. They were immediately greeted with many stairs leading to the top.
“Are you all right to come with me into this tower?” asked Altair, glancing at Mary.
"It's all right sir," Mary replied calmly.
“We servants are often seen going in and out to meet the needs of the Duke and the magicians. Sometimes we came back late at night and just got out of the tower. Just helping the equipment and cleaning so that it is always clean and tidy.” Mary answered completely.
They passed the first floor where the assistants and magicians were conducting experiments and were also seen experimenting with dust, blue, red and purple smoke.
You can also see the fires that burn the liquid in the glass and flying books.
There is also a maid who is cleaning by holding a broom and rag. Behind them was a large, wide bookcase covering the worn gray wall. Seeing their arrival gazes turned to Altair and Mary who were walking past them.
Altair and Mary's destination was located on the 2nd floor while the first floor was the people's room they had seen earlier, the 2nd floor was the location of important books, precious parchments and history books.
The top floor was where Duke Leon was watching as well as where he worked. Observing all the movement of magic Mana spread in the kingdom and outside the kingdom.
After Altair and Mary passed the first floor they climbed the stairs again. Surrounding them now were light blue flames hovering between the walls and their heads.
The torches moved of their own accord without interfering with their journey in the slightest. Some followed Mary behind others flew close to Altair's shoulders and also under their feet. The fire torches wanted to illuminate the road they were on.
After climbing the stairs they found a large window in front, was open and dazzled the eyes of those who had just climbed the stairs.
Just a few meters from where they arrived there was a large, shiny silver door closing. Adorned with several rubies and blue gemstones, the signature eyeball of the Onder de family.
A door with a slit for placing a hand as a key which can only be accessed by Onder de's descendants by placing their palms down and channeling magic Mana.
Of course the library cannot be accessed by people who are not the original descendants of Onder de, even if they also have Mana power.
Altair walked towards the big door and saw the key, Altair who felt compelled to put his palms down tried to take out his Mana as well.
Mary only watched from afar and did not dare to approach neither the magicians nor the maids were forbidden to approach the library room.
You can see Mana is light blue with a hint of greenish gold oozing out of Altair's hand. The stones that adorned the large door shone in their true colors, the sound of engine gears turning loudly from within the walls and library doors. The door swung wide open to reveal a large room in front of Altair.
The number of books that cannot be counted because there are too many arranged and neatly arranged with large cabinets on the bookshelf. Their books vary in color. But it looks more outdated.
With colors that are worn and old thanks to the power of magic Mana, the seals of the books there are still awake and well maintained even though they are hundreds of years old.
"I'm just going to take you here sir because we are forbidden to approach this room." said Mary, lowering her head.
"Thank you very much Mary for bringing me here" continued Altair while looking at him.
Mary turned to descend the stairs and began to disappear until the figure in front of Altair was no longer visible.
Altair walked in and smelled the smell of an old book on his nose. The room was damp and stuffy, fortunately the sunlight still entered the room.
Altair who walked in heard the sound of the door closing itself to keep others from entering the library.
Altair went towards the window located far from the entrance. Opening one of the windows so that it is not stuffy, you can see a wide view with green fields and clouds moving in the direction of the wind.
The windblown trees and the handkerchief tied around Altair's neck also fluttered.
Many old books make Altair confused about where to start. Altair picked up some by climbing the stairs of the library of books such as the history of the Rhodes empire, the power of Mana as well as the origin of Mana and others.
The sunlight that penetrates into the room through one of the broken glass ornaments forms the same pattern in the bathroom.
About 4-5 books are already in his hands. Altair hopes one of the books here can help him get out of the novel.
The white clothes he was wearing now were stained with dust and blood, not looking like the clothes of a noble.
Altair sat at a large table and several rows of chairs there. Tables and chairs made of the best quality teak wood feel very old and shiny.
The cushioned chair is made of luxurious dark red velvet surrounded by embroidered gold and silver threads.
A large blue rose embroidered pattern sits in the center of the cushioned fabric for the seatback. The wood carvings are also very antique, similar to the accent of the On country dragon, however, they also look like vines.
Altair began to read the books.
The Kingdom of Rhodes was born because of the services of 5 Mana controllers and the Mana Controllers have their own designations and powers, namely: Mana Spirit, Mana Magic, Mana Weapons, Mana hard stones, and Mana Knights.
In the land of the kingdom of Rhodes before it was formed, it was seen that people gathered to camp from various parts of the country. They rested on the ground. Troop leaders from each group are also preparing for the need to stay overnight. Some had stayed and camped there before the rest of the group arrived. One of them is the Onder de family. He and his family and siblings were making preparations for the hunt. "Welcome." said someone standing in front of Onder de. Onder de who was tying his shoelaces saw the shadow blocking him from the sun and looked up. "Introduce me as the leader of the family army as well as the leader of the strongest knight, my name is Adhelmar." he said, holding out his hand. Onder de accepted the outstretched hand, and stood up as well. "My name is Onder de." replied Onder de. “This is a welcome gift from us.” while handing over a deer he just got. The deer was hit by an arrow in the thigh
Onder de started holding two daggers in his hands and the rest of his daggers flew at one of the dragon heads. The flying train attacked one of the dragon heads leaving the dragon exhausted and confused. The daggers that flew were controlled by Mana Onder de like a light green golden string when exposed to the moonlight at night. One of the trainers that floated was bitten by the dragon, the rest tried to turn around trying to stab the dragon's head and Onder de tried to run towards the dragon's wings. The dragon's flapping wings let out a huge gust of wind making their movement slightly hampered. After sneaking behind the dragon, two wings were busy flapping to create a strong gust of wind. The dagger that was held in both hands was gripped firmly. Onder de refocused Mana into all his daggers. The mana that covered the daggers made them 3x bigger than before. At the same time Onder de started slashing at the dragon's wings in one slas
After Altair read the history book of the founding of the Rhodes empire and how this kingdom emerged. Altair was amazed and fascinated by the heroic story, Altair was one of the descendants of the five heroes who were very meritorious. In another history book 500 years ago after the Onder de family sealed Mana because Mana had to be sealed once every 100 years according to the son's descendants reached the peak of maturity. They will wander and do the job. Onder de's descendants returned from the sealing mission. His father who was the absolute successor helped seal the special Altair which was witnessed by their King and several others. After the sealing was completed they heard that his uncle was hanged by the court, for having signs of a coup d'etat with some of his followers. The young man ran to meet his uncle. He did not know the problems that occurred while he left his hometown and what happened in the Onder de family. After seeing the
After passing through many walls, Altair stood at the entrance with only an ordinary wall with a hole the size of Altair's finger inserting his finger but there was no response. Altair tried another way with him, draining the Mana wrapped around the body and concentrating it all on the fingers. Mana flowed through the finger holes into the cracks in the stone walls. The blue mana crept into various cracks in the wall and then converged and focused in a single point in front of Altair. The wall door slowly disappeared and a large cupboard with dividing shelves was seen, there were ancient items that existed in the early days of the kingdom's formation including the 1000 year old Onder de Grandpa's hard stone. Altair saw a dark red cup, around which were small black stone eyes. Altair rushed to take the cup that wanted to get out before his father came back in, which would keep him trapped for who knows how long. The cup on the top shelf was wra
Altair walked to the capital city of Rhodes to see that the surroundings outside the mansion looked very crowded with many people wandering around. Altair decided to get out of the mansion for a few days, after taking a shower Altair prepared to complete the things he would take to go that night. Altair chose to run away from his family because if he asked permission first, it was certain that his father would not give permission to leave the mansion. Altair had also given a piece of paper to his father if he was going away for a few days to visit his mother's city first. Altair hopes that if he gets into trouble outside of his father, he can understand. Although Altair didn't expect his father to be unable to defend or help him later. After making sure everyone wasn't seen wandering around the mansion Altair went through the window in his room. Wearing a black robe covering his face and carrying a small bag containing several gold coins and a chalice.
Altair went somewhere where there were a lot of people gathering to see something. The sun had started to greet the morning a middle-aged man sitting with people who were doing street gambling surrounded by people who were watching their games. "Guess what," said the man who looked like a gambling owner. "This time if you win I will definitely double your bet," he said again while biting a toothpick. The man in front of him looked like a fairly rich person then he took out some gold coins in his pocket placing the coins on top of the card he chose nervously. "This time you have to pay me more," he said as he put the coin to the right. "Don't worry," he replied calmly. Altair, who was already standing beside the man who was betting, was watching the game. The dealer opens his opponent's chosen card with a 3 heart card the man loses. "Too bad, maybe next time," said the street gambling owner as he opened his card king.
Morning arrived, Altair was getting ready to leave his inn last night. After returning from the casino Altair went straight into the inn and immediately he collected the blood into the cup. The cup was filled with Altair's blood and immediately made him weak and fell asleep. Now that Altair woke up feeling refreshed and ready, Altair looked at the ring on his index finger. In the center of the circle was seen full red with Altair's blood. Turns back into someone else's figure with the power of Mana on his neck necklace. "Now is the time," said Altair excitedly. "Hopefully this majestic creature can help me out of this world," said Altair while kissing the ring. Altair went down the steps of the inn, ordered some food and went to the market. Altair went to the market to buy Mana stone powder and gold fairy powder. As long as Altair was in the capital, he saw for himself how the people of Rhodes lived in peace and security. Altai
"Still children who haven't become full successors of Mana controllers," a small voice whispered. Altair tried to find the source of the sound and found a creature hovering on his left shoulder. Has a human-like body with the body of a jellyfish with tassel decorations like a young girl with her hair tied back. "What are you?" asked Altair curiously. "You impolite, I'm one of the gods' pets!" replied the little creature. “Yes I know but why are you so small?” asked Altair again. "We are not like animals and humans, we are immortal beings I have lived before you," he said angrily followed by pointing at Altair's nose. “What is a creature like you calling us?” he asked groggily. "Forgive me majesty," replied Altair. Hearing the flattery from Altair the creature was blushing and delighted. His face turned friendly. "Crystal Pino," he said. "Altair Onder de," replied Altair happily. "Like I said earl
