Chapter three

When we got to the pack territories the were three gray wolf's on patrol, when they saw our car they smiled and bowed their heads, knowing their young alpha has come back home, they allowed the car to cross in to the territory and the was no-one in side, but the pack looked exactly like the way I left it four years ago and I shook my head in disapproval knowing it's my father's fault the man hates change and I tried hard not to think about how his going to react when he finds out about my mate 

The first building you see is of a big warehouse owned by my father, that's where omegas were manufacturing wooden furniture, kitchen cabinets, wooden floor pallets, and mahogany desks, it was a big company, and it sustained our pack for decades because it was the best quality you can get. And since we have the biggest territory with many trees it was easy to produce  our products and my father was a very smart man, "chop two trees you have the responsibility to at least plants five trees" that was his slogan!

Then came the school, it was only four small wooden cottages because it was only for primary school children for our pack, the older ones went to town were they mixed with other pack teenagers the elders made it so  that it was easier for them to find their mates while they were still in high school

Next was the pack houses for those who already found their mates and are trying to reproduce, my father always made sure they have their wooden cottage surrounded by the other couples

As the car moved the was a coffee shop that looked kind of cozy with big bold letters written Koffee, I smiled thinking how was such a lazy attempt for a name, then we passed the park, and it was still early in the afternoon but the was no pups playing there, which was strange, and that's when it hit me, they are all waiting for me at the pack house for the party.

I  became nervous knowing people are excited about seeing me again and for me to find my mate, but what they don't know is I  already did, and it was a male and an alpha from another pack and people speculated that his not the real alpha since his adopted, because the current alpha had a male mate.

I  tried to shift my thoughts away from my  mate because every time I  thought about him I felt the fear of being rejected not only by my mate but by my  pack and family, since they are all narrow-minded and some of them still carry the old laws and my own father is a firm enforcer of old laws.

What will my beta and best friend since childhood say when he finds out his friend and alpha is a "fag" like he bluntly put it earlier on, that word hurt me even more because I didn't choose to be one, my fate was  written before I  myself was born, the moon goddess made me that way!

"You don't look happy to be home?" Derek shook his shoulder drawing him out of his thoughts!

"Nah, I'm fine just reminiscing about our old days" I lied again and it felt like I have been lying since I got in the truck today

"But you seem worried rather than being in a happy place and don't fucken lie to me Dave" his voice hardened, "I've known you since we were in diapers, your shit won't work with me, I have been watching you since we left camp what's bothering you?"

"I'm alright I promise" he saw it in my eyes I was lying through my teeth, and he didn't believe me, but I  was glad he let it go!

The car stopped at the pack house it was a five-story mansion with a big red front double doors and brick build and covered by the green landscaping my mother requested, but I knew all the flowers and garden were at the back of the house, because my mother wanted the front to  be only simple but also accommodating.

When we got inside it was elegant yet simple the theme was black and white and everyone was wearing their formal attire, I went straight to my mom and gave her a hug and a kiss on her cheek!

"How you doing mommy?"

"I'm very excited, my son is finally going to be the alpha and find his mate, I know you will do good things at our pack" said my mother!

"Thank you, I hope I do you proud"

"You already have" she said and smiled loving at me

She let me straight to the back room where my suit was already waiting for me with black formal shoes and I freshen up and got dressed while Derek did the same, and we went back to the main table were the ceremony begun

I took my vows as an alpha as my father transformed the ruling power to me and I couldn't help wonder if Adam was doing the same thing and again the thought of him unsettled me, after we were done people came and congratulated me and bowed they head in respect I was happy but just not contend because a part of me was still missing, and that made I and my wolf be on edge!
