My spy delivered a crucial piece of intel. The words drew me in as I unfolded the letter in the comfort of my furnished apartment, nestled in the human world. It read that Francis, no longer an Alpha, had been seized by Neon for punishment.

Alpha Xavier and Alpha Kai worked together, unveiling Francis' misdeeds to the council and Neon. Moreover, there were whispers of Leia flaunting a mate mark allegedly given by Alpha Xavier. As I absorbed this information, anger swelled within me, intensifying my loathing for Leia. She'd come in, which disrupted my plans of reuniting with Xavier and potentially becoming the Luna of the Blackmoon pack.
