EPISODE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-SEVEN- THE NIGHTMARE

Henri’s POV

As I woke up abruptly from sleep, my first thought was to reach out to Karyna. My heart raced until I was sure she was sleeping, and not dead.

I was drenched in sweat despite the chilly weather. I clung to her bare body, visibly trembling from the horrifying nightmare that had just gripped me.

In the dream, Sara choked Karyna to death. Her hands were drenched with blood as she turned to look at me. “You don't deserve to live happily ever after causing Adrian’s death! You killed your own brother! You ruin our lives.”

Her voice tormented me. It echoed loudly in my ears as grief spread across my soul like a dark storm cloud. The weight of guilt and sorrow pressed heavily on my chest, suffocating me.

It had a relentless grip on my heart, much like it always did whenever I woke up to a nightmare about Adrian and Sara. This intense pain was all too familiar to me. I'd carried it for the past fourteen years.

“It was my fault. It was all my fault,” I muttered quietly
