EPISODE EIGHTY-TWO- LEAH

Julian’s POV

It was already nighttime by the time I decided to stop. There was a nearby café, so I parked my car in their parking lot and went straight into the coffee establishment.

The bell above the door chimed as soon as I entered, and I was thankful that the cafe was mostly empty, save for a couple of teenagers who were sitting at the end of the room with headphones on, hunched over their laptops.

There was only one staff behind the counter, a petite lady, with pin straight, jet black hair.

“What can I get you, tonight, sir?” She asked politely.

“Coffee, black,” I ordered and she nodded, tending to my order.

I went to an empty booth beside the window, that gave me the perfect view of my car from the parking lot.

I was still very much aware that there was someone following me, but I wanted to know what their motive was at least. Were they waiting for me to lure me out, or did they just want to rob my gold?
