Chapter twenty two

2024-10-29 19:42:56I couldn't get to sleep, I had an ache through my body and couldn't get comfy, no matter how much Dax cuddled me.
"Tilly are you ok?"
"No I am feeling weird something doesn't feel right."
I was considering waking Dax up when all of a sudden I shot out of bed and I could hear the snapping of my bones in my arms and the pain, I have never felt pain like this every bone breaking in my arms at once. I just managed to scream
"DAX!!"
He shot up and it took him only seconds to realise what was going on.
"Aurora we need to get you out of here we can't have you turning for the first time in the bedroom.".

The day of the trial was here. I was very nervous having to see Lisa, Shanaya and Benson again and to relive what was done to me in front of the entire pack. Dax made me some breakfast but I couldn't stomach much of it, but I tried to swallow some of it down. We made our way to the pack court room which was basically a huge room that the whole pack could fit in with a little stand at the front so everyone could see them. When we arrived only about a quarter of the pack was here. They all turned to look at me them knowing I was involved with what was going on today. Some even came up to me and said they were sorry to hear I had gone through the trauma. DAX'S POVKnowing that Shanaya was out there was very unsettling for the whole pack. Knowing she would want revenge on Aurora made me more than anxious.However I had other things that needed to be sorted first, like Aurora and what exactly she is capable of. When we first found out she was part elf she has shoved it aside and not wanted to deal with it, me on the other hand has been trying to do as much research as possible without anyone finding out.There isn't much information on the internet about it and what is there is just a pile of crap. AURORA'S POV Hearing that from my Mum was not the easiest information to hear. Why would I that is only half elf get one of the strongest powers? Why does it turn you evil? Will my wolf help stop it? All these questions going around in my head and no answers to any of them. "How can I control my power? The next day I woke up and I felt a bit weird, I didn't know what it was but something seemed off. After a while I out it down to using all that power yesterday and my body not been used to it. We woke up the next morning and we were both so sore, our muscles ached and between my legs well out it this way I would be shocked if I could walk right today. Waking up I feel the warmth of Dax's body against mine just like it is every morning. I lay there and remember that I was meeting Sue for a coffee this morning, so I throw my arm out of the covers and feel around for my phone off the bedside table and open on eye to look at the time. Sitting down with Richard and Riggs in front of me, I didn't know how to say the words to them. How do I tell them out Mum is dead and she is gone because she saved me so it is all my fault. After our amazing sex I start filling Dax in on everything my Mum had told us.
