Hiding the truth

Astrid's POV:

My wolf moved swiftly through the dense forest with powerful legs propelling it forward with ease. The sound of her paws hitting the soft ground echoed through the woods. Her thick fur coat rippled in the wind as she weaved in and out of the trees, her sharp senses attuned to the slightest noise or movement. With each bound, my wolf covered great distances, her movements fluid and graceful. As she ran, her piercing eyes scanned her surroundings, searching for any sign of danger or prey.

Collin's wolf, Mica, ran behind me. He couldn't even pass me during our run to the city.

We shifted back to our human forms, and a momentary shock came over me when I saw I was fully dressed.

“We can do that now. No need to be surprised.” Malessia said.

I turned away while Collin grabbed a new pair of jeans from the back seat of his car and got dressed.
