I heard Alpha Harold discuss putting Darian at a disadvantage, and my eyes fluttered open. I replied, "I know! I will do my duty as a wife. Absolutely no harm to Darian!"

I thought about how I poisoned Darian. I don't know if he has investigated anything or will agree to continue this marriage. I impatiently asked Alpha Harold, "Does Darian know about this? Does he still accept me as his wife? I don't think he'll continue his marriage to me!"
