Ken looked at his brother, Kelvin, and nodded in agreement. "Alright, it's a good plan. But, Mom, you need to be careful out there," he said, his voice tense.

Kelvin chimed in, "Yeah, make sure you’re not being followed. The last thing we need is the cops catching up with us."

Cassandra, her face lined with stress, nodded. "I understand. I'll be careful," she replied, trying to steady her voice. She grabbed her purse and made her way to the door, pausing for a moment to look back at her sons. The sight of them, grown yet still so dependent, filled her with resentment. "I'll be back soon. Just... stay out of trouble," she added, though she doubted they could avoid it.
