Stephanie took Dr. Zita's advice to heart and resolved to inform her father about the situation. Since reuniting with her father, she had kept much of her past hidden, burying it deep and deciding to move on. The sudden reappearance of Alpha Damien, however, meant she had no choice but to reopen old wounds and confront the painful memories she had long tried to forget. To do that, she needed help, and her father was one of the few people who could provide it.

The next morning, Stephanie woke up anxious and determined to go through with her plans. She knew this conversation wouldn't be easy, but it was necessary. After getting dressed, she took a deep breath and picked up the phone, dialling her father's private line.

"Hello, Dad?" she said, trying to keep her voice steady.

"Stephanie, it's a pleasure to hear from you. How are you doing?" her father asked, it always pleased him when she called him, especially on his private line, it meant it was a personal matter and most times they ju
