“Although this city is the safest place, away from the reach of Alpha Zayden, the threat of unpleasant encounters with dangerous supernatural creatures can’t be ignored.

Uncle Desmond’s concerned advice from five years ago resonated in my mind. A silver of dread touched my spine when the gravity of reality sank in.
