My entire existence screamed for rest for the whole night, but I couldn’t sleep for a second.

Firstly, Zayden was taken to the punishment room despite my protest, and apparently, I had no say in Royal matters until public announcement in a festival.

Then Nova also vanished in thin air, making me feel devastated. I wrapped my arms around myself and curled on my bed, calling her repeatedly.

My pitiful pleas didn’t get any response from her, fear stabbed me like a sharp knife twisting in my gut for a long time.

As soon as the first ray of sun peered through my window’s glass, I slipped into a blue sundress and rushed towards Susan’s room.
