Theda POV

My eyes fluttered open, and as I took in my surroundings, a wave of recognition washed over me. I realized I was in the clinic, the place where I had been brought after losing consciousness. Memories of how I had passed out flooded my mind, and I couldn't help but wonder who had come to my rescue.

Just as the thought crossed my mind, the door swung open, revealing Blake rushing into the room. A genuine concern was etched across his features as he approached my bedside, gently placing a hand on my still-chilled one. "Theda, you're awake," he exclaimed, relief evident in his voice. His concern was palpable, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort in his presence.

As I glanced towards the she-wolf lingering by the door, Blake sensed my unspoken request and gestured for the assistant to leave, granting them privacy. The she-wolf quietly exited the room, leaving me alone with Blake.
