Theda POV

"Theda, things might get worse if you're around Tyler. You should be away from him."

"You said he was stressed, was that true?"

He sighed and nodded. "Think about yourself now. Alpha Tyler doesn't know how to control his anger. You should be away from him."

"No. I won't just run away leaving him to be consumed in his misery."

"Theda, think about it." He gave me a long glance before leaving me.

Some minutes later, I burst through the doors of the clinic with a mix of determination and pain etched across my face. My ankle throbbed with each step I took. Seeking solace and healing, I knew that Doctor Marcus was the one who could tend to my wounds.

He was a confidant to many in the pack too, and as soon as I entered, he looked up from his desk. Concern filled his eyes as he took in my condition. He gestured for me to take a seat on the examination table, and with a gentle touch, he began assessing my injured ankle.
