Theda POV

A mix of emotions swirled within my mind—confusion, concern, and a growing desire to understand what he said. I pondered the possible reasons behind his secrecy, questioning whether it was to protect me from additional worry or if there were deeper motivations at play.

Undeterred, I resolved to approach the situation with patience and empathy. I recognized that he might have his reasons for keeping things to himself, and I would respect his boundaries while sticking to my guts.

"Just sleep in another room for tonight, Theda, and…"

"No," I firmly said, inhaling. "I will go wait outside the room till he opens the door." I turned to leave but he grabbed my arm, stopping me.

"Theda, please do as I said."

"No, I am sorry. It's not going to be good if he sleeps angry."

"He is not going to get rid of it as easily as you think."

"What?"

"Don't worry, I will talk to him tomorrow."

"No. I will go talk him into opening the door and…"

"He won't."

"I don't mind trying."
