Tyler POV

"Who the hell is she?" Hearing a sort of throaty voice yell almost a minute after Theda left my office, I arose and gently walked to the door, trying to think of who it was.

"Get the bitch. Who is she?" Hearing the voice yell again, I couldn't mistake it for another. I realized who it belonged to and the realization almost made my blood boil and caused Tyson to grumble.

It was Adriana.

Damn. The petty bitch is here again. I hope she doesn't get me pissed off and ruin my mood. I didn't know why but I felt a bit lively after having a conversation with Theda which I knew Tyson was looking forward to having again.

"Hey, Blake! Did that bitch just ignore me?" I heard Adriana ask and I realized she could probably be referring to Theda.

"Come on, ma'am, don't take it to heart," Blake told her with an ass-kisser voice that almost made me puke.

"Stop it. Don't try to irritate me. I'm cheese off…"

"Hey, have I ever tried to do that?"

"Whatever. I'll deal with you later. I'm go

Theda POV When I got to the Omega quarters, I saw different groups of girls chatting quietly at different corners of the courtyard, all giving me a flabbergasted and curious stare as I headed into the house."Theda!" Jasmine shouted in excitement when she saw me walk in. She ran up to me and pulled me into a tight embrace."Are you okay? Were you punished? Don't tell me your punishment was severe. What did the Alpha do to you?" She bombarded me with questions, leaving me uncertain of which I was to answer first.I could only stare at her and saw the great concern and worry she had in my absence. When I said no word but just stared at her, smiling and trying to imagine how she had probably survived by killing herself with worry, she poked me and turned me around while she checked all over my body."Hey, what is this?" She asked, taking my bandaged hand. "Oh, did he hurt you?""Jasmine, relax…""No. Do you see why I had told you to take the knife along with you for protection? I know

Tyler POV I walked into the pack house, making sure that the Omega was behind me. It seemed that she was becoming a problem, and I really needed to avoid it. Ignoring most of the greetings of the pack members, I hastily walked to my office, ascending the stairs, and making sure that she was directly behind, following me. I could track her by her scent, Tyson could help me with that since he was so attracted to her, but then, it happened that he was beginning to get sad because he knew what I was going to do. I ignored my worried wolf who was stirring and trying to know what I was going to do to the Omega. Well, I was planning on scolding her because she seemed to have done something more wrong than defying Zoey and I'm sure they all are expecting me to deal with her for that, especially Zoey. That, my wolf wouldn't want, but I'm an alpha and I needed to do what was expected of me. As we journeyed through the hallway, I saw my Beta, Blake, standing and looking at us, watc

Tyler POV Tyson growled at Blake's wolf when the silence was growing long. I knew he had become impatient like I was. Why wouldn't he? He had heard the mention of that Omega's name. I wouldn't deny I was eager to know what was the issue with Theda now. Okay, I think I should stop thinking about the worst of things concerning Theda. I think I am prone to think most times that something bad has happened with Theda. I slammed the desk with my fist, not wanting to seem out of control. "Will you cease the suspense, Blake? What has happened to Theda now?" "Theda is…I feel you've instilled a lot of fear in her." My expression softened a bit at his utterance, forcing him to giggle. I bet he realized how badly he had gotten me. "Was that what you meant to say?" "Oh, let me guess." He sat up and leaned on his elbows on the desk. "You thought someone must have pounced on your little Omega and I bet you were ready to go and devour the person," he jokingly said, making me growl. "Get lost

Blake POV Staring at Tyler's face, I could sense anger engulfing him. I was quite sure that he wasn't a fan of the Vickers due to their past history. "There's a connection, Blake. The Vickers tormented Selena and taunted me. I wish I could destroy everyone from their pack." "Unfortunately, it's a joint party with the Alpha king. Both the Alpha king and the Vickers are hosting the party for all Alphas." "The Alpha king?" "Yes. He wants to celebrate his youngest son upon finding his mate, I heard." Tyler hissed. "Should everyone celebrate finding their mates?" "It's a good thing. I'm sure you would when you find yours…" "I don't think I have a fated mate. Selena was my mate." "You chose her to be your mate." "She's my love. And the goddess was so cruel to take her away from me, then bring around her clone which gave my wolf troubles." "Really?" "Hm. Anyway, who the hell would be the mate of that bloke?" Tyler scoffed. "Hey, why the sudden anger?" Tyler twitched his nose a

Tyler POVMy eyes ran to Blake, whose expression showed that he wasn't ready for this mess. Somehow, I was so fond of my previous mate, but her sister was something else. I hated bitches.Adriana was one of a kind. She wasn't the best person I knew, and I hated the way she stalked me all the time. I didn't want to deride the fact that she was my mate's sister, so I had to take it easy on her. Her eyes were radiant as she said it. I knew that once she had set her eyes to do something, she was always going to get it no matter what it was. This time, it was my pack house. I knew she wanted to be here for a longer period than she had claimed."What do you fucking mean by that Ana? You can't stay here. This is a pack house for my pack members to live in," I said, opening a big room for argument. Blake's eyes didn't give me any hope. He was so sharp-mouthed with me, but then, when it came to Adriana, he wasn't ready to say a word. He was ready to desert me."What do you mean by I can't

Tyler POV At this point, I didn't know who was way more annoying. Adriana or Blake. Fuck. He seems like a leech that won't get off me until he has gotten what he wanted. For a second I thought he was getting way more interested in my life. Don't get me wrong, he's nothing like Adriana. But he's my Beta. Unlike before, I was expecting him to be more concerned about the issues related to the pack other than my personal issues but things seemed to have changed in a short time. I guess it did when Theda came here. The goddess knows that I wouldn't have bought her if I had known well that she had a face almost like Selena's. 'Pff, lie,' Tyson, my wolf, countered me. I could tell he was ready to argue with me to the end but I cared less. It's all his fault and Blake's too. If I hadn't attended the bidding. Anyway, I'll deal with Blake's irritating nosiness first before Tyson's prowlings. "It's certainly not Adriana." I picked a file, thinking he would misthink I'm returning my focus

Theda POVThe last few days have just been a sort of hell-living for me. Okay, I shouldn't exaggerate. But, since I returned to the Omega quarters a few days ago in new clothes, I've been having a lot of silent attacks from everyone. When I had returned that day, Zoey had personally asked me what punishment I had undergone in the packhouse. And it seemed like her whole world came crashing in front of her when I told her that the Alpha and I only had a few talks and he dismissed me.She could believe it. I guess they were expecting me to return after mercilessly being punished by Alpha Tyler. Yes, I had thought that would happen but it didn't, and I'm feeling lucky. Maybe it's my late father covering my deeds and saving me from the Alpha.Lena, when I had met that wench whom I'm sure purposely trained ferociously with me and wanted to get rid of me, she was surprised to see me with no bruises.Funny enough, she asked me if I had escaped from the packhouse or cast a spell on the Alpha

Tyler POVI jerked up to my feet, pushing my seat backward after Adriana slammed the door close when she left. I started pacing, agitated, and I felt Blake staring at me. "Man, what's wrong?"I stopped and shot a hot glare at him."Woah, I just died ten times but I'm reviving. What's wrong?""Really?" I slammed the desk with my fist."Don't act fucking stupid now, Blake.""Huh?" He lifted his brows before shrugging."You know what's going to fucking happen if Adriana sees Theda," I snapped."So? Why are you damn bothered about that?""Are you fucking dumb?!" I growled, forcing my claws to slip from my fingers and go through the desk. Seeing that, Blake slowly arose, understanding that I was not kidding."Okay. Theda looks like Selena.""She's Selena's clone," I corrected. He nodded."You think Adriana would throw a tantrum there when she sees her?""I don't know, but I'm now feeling that she knows about Theda and hence, her unexpected arrival.""Nah." Blake waved. "I'm just thinking t

Theda POV My heart swelled with affection as my son beckoned for me, and without hesitation, I ran up to Tyler, enveloping him in a tight embrace. Tears welled up in my eyes, mingling with the overwhelming emotions that surged through me. "I am sorry, Theda. I am sorry," Tyler whispered, his voice filled with remorse and sincerity. "I won't ever do that again. I will never doubt you. Never." I pulled back slightly from the hug, looking into his eyes, my heart touched by his words. With a gentle smile, I reassured him, "It is fine, Alpha Tyler." Turning to face Alpha Norton, I bowed respectfully, gratitude shining in my eyes. "Thank you, Alpha Norton. I won't forget what you've done for me today. Your kindness and understanding mean a great deal." Alpha Norton returned my smile, though I could see the flicker of sadness in his eyes. He fought back his tears, his pride evident in his composed demeanor. "You can go, Theda," he said, waving his hand in a bittersweet farewell. He th

A mischievous grin spread across my face as I made a spontaneous decision. "I'll keep you company." She chuckled, seemingly taken aback by my offer. Her surprise quickly transformed into a peal of infectious laughter. "What about work?""I'm free for now, Jassy,

Tyler POV I felt a deep sense of uncertainty gripping my heart ever since the day I met Theda and we shared that fateful kiss. The moment our lips touched, a whirlwind of emotions had surged through me, and I had been unable to shake off the lingering effects since then. After that reoccurring life-altering encounter, I had mustered the courage to ask Theda to come back with me, to be a part of my life and my pack again. However, much to my dismay, Theda had chosen to leave without giving me a definitive answer, leaving me in a state of constant unease. Days turned into weeks, and uncertainty continued to gnaw at my soul. I couldn't help but wonder if Theda had any intentions of returning or if she had simply vanished from my life forever. The absence of closure had left me feeling adrift, my thoughts consumed by the memory of that shared kiss and the bond I believed still existed between us.One day, Theda's mother, seeking to understand her daughter's whereabouts, visited the

Theda POV Staring at Norton's angry mother, I mustered the strength to speak, my voice filled with remorse. "Alpha Norton, I am so sorry," I managed to utter, my words weighed down by the heaviness of the situation. Alpha Norton, still facing away from me, nodded silently. His gesture conveyed a mix of understanding and resignation as if he had anticipated this outcome. "Theda, it's alright." I could sense the pain and disappointment radiating from him, and it tore at my heart. Meanwhile, Aunt Jael sneered, her expression filled with disdain as she continued to stare at me. The contemptuous gaze intensified the already overwhelming emotions within me, and I felt a desperate need to escape the suffocating atmosphere. Without another word, I turned and rushed out of the office, seeking solace and refuge. As I entered my room, my vision blurred by my tears, I stumbled near my bed. Collapsing onto the soft surface, I began to cry bitterly, my sobs echoing through the room. The

Norton POV Standing by the entrance gate, my heart sank as I witnessed Theda and Tyler locked in a passionate kiss. I had noticed Theda leaving the packhouse in a hurry earlier, and now, seeing her in the arms of another, my worst fears seemed to be confirmed. The sight struck me with a mix of shock and disappointment, and I felt a heavy weight settle in my chest. Silently, I retreated, my footsteps heavy and my mind clouded with a whirlwind of emotions. Doubts that had lingered in the back of my mind were now crystal clear, and my fears about Theda's feelings for Tyler seemed validated. I returned to my room, feeling dejected and betrayed, struggling to make sense of it all. In the following days, Theda seemed to avoid me, her presence scarce and her interactions minimal. She had only served me a meal the following day after that day. I couldn't help but feel the palpable tension between us, our once budding connection now strained. The distance between us only deepened my sen

Theda POV My conscience weighed heavily on me as I replayed the events of the day in my mind. I had spent the entire day feeling guilty for deceiving Alpha Norton about my true feelings for Alpha Tyler. After dinner, as I prepared to retire to my bed, I was interrupted by Aunt Jael, who approached her with a serious expression on her face. Caught off guard, I looked at her and managed to ask politely, "Aunt Jael, do you want anything?" Her gaze shifted briefly towards Liam who lay peacefully asleep on the bed. Wordlessly, she signaled for me to follow her outside. My heart raced as I complied, stepping out into the hallway and closing the door behind me. The dimly lit space added to my growing anxiety. Standing before the railings, Aunt Jael seemed composed, but I could sense an undercurrent of concern. Tentatively, I approached her, my unease palpable. I couldn't help but wonder what she wanted to talk about, especially with such a serious expression on her face. She finally

I hadn't expected to see my mother again, and now that she stood before me, it felt like a surreal moment."Mother?"
