There was silence in the court, no one had anything to say the moment I asked the question. I was expecting the meeting to be chaotic but little did I know it would be like this.

“How sure are you that she isn't carrying your baby?” Another chief asked. I stared at him for a while and sighed.

“Isabelle, tell the truth to the court.” Isabelle looked shocked to hear what I said to her. I decided when I was with Richard that calling her out in the presence of the chiefs is the only way she will tell the truth.

All the chiefs turned to look at Isabelle, they were all curious to hear what she would say.

“Speak up young lady.” One of the impatient ones scolded her.

Isabelle looked like she was struggling to tell the truth which was understandable because of the punishment that comes with getting action.

“I didn't mean to lie, I was only trying to win his love, there was no better way than what I did.” Everyone present in the court was disappointed to hear what Isabelle
