“The next meeting is with Naomi.” Richard said to me when we were done with the second meeting for the day.

“What time is it?” I asked Richard.

“In less than two hours.” I had such little time to prepare myself for a meeting with someone I have a history with.

“Are you sure you can meet her?” Richard asked curiously.

“You ask like I have a choice.” I replied almost immediately, I was getting pissed because I couldn’t wrap my head around what to tell her and how to convince her that I still want her to be mine.

“Not now Isabelle.” I muttered refusing to pick the call. She called several times but I didn’t pick any of her calls.
