Blood-binding Contract

AVERY POV

The first thing I did was to guffaw before his words sank in.

"What? You can't be serious," I giggled, slapping a hand over my mouth to stifle it.

Julian continued to glower at me, "Do you think I am kidding? Well, go ahead and read the damned contract." he stated.

Julian turned away from me, "I'm willing to forgive you for calling another man's name while in my bed and carelessly speaking of resignation if you return to my bed and promise to be a good girl."

Well, damned his forgiveness. He had made me look like a complete mess for seven years. If I indeed was his girlfriend, I was sure as well it wouldn't be in the bedroom alone where I give him pleasure.

It wasn't as if I was interested in moving around the whole society with him, but his flaunting women in front of me was uncalled for.
