Despite his resistance not to believe what May said and trust Amby completely, he couldn't stop reminiscing what May told him and to clear his doubt, he decided to visit the police station, where the woman was taken.

On arriving, the police officers bowed to him, while leading him to the inspector's office.

"Nice to have you here, Alpha." The inspector said and pulled a chair for Jake, he shook his hands while maintaining a friendly gesture, then settled down.

"Were you able to get some information as to why she attacked my wife?" Jake questioned, his eyes fixed on the inspector, his fingers tabbing on the table.

"She hasn't said anything yet, maybe you want to talk to her?" The inspector suggested and Jake thought it would be a nice idea.

"Yeah," Jake said and the inspector led him to the cell.

The woman is not something he can identify, and even by her scent, he is convinced that she doesn't belong to his pack, she smells differently.
