OLIVIA'S POV

"Where is she going?" I asked as soon as he entered the house.

"She got a phone call from her mother, she said her father has been in the hospital for two days now." He answered, feeling a bit worried and concerned.

"You should have gone with her if you knew you'd be this concerned." I said,

"I did want to, but she refused." I sounded sad.

I raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"It's concerning the issue going on between you and Rick. Leaving the pack will only give him access to have you, so she had to go alone."

"Is that supposed to make me feel happy?" I crossed my arms on my chest. The Sophia I knew would never consider good for anyone, so there's definitely no way I could get my heart to trust her goodness.

"Well, I don't think she expected anyone to feel happy when she said that." I hummed. "I hope she'll be alright."

I was a bit jealous of how he felt about her absence, but I coated it so he wouldn't notice. "You still love her, don't you?"
