"Mom, I’m running twenty minutes late," I complained. "Massimo might cancel this date and leave me here alone with you," I said, recalling how he couldn’t stand getting a minute late.

"Amee!! Stop showing so much importance to him, or he will start taking you for granted again." I pouted, listening to Mom’s warning, "If he loves you, then he will wait, even if he will have to wait for a century." I could already imagine his skeleton waiting for me on the sofa.

Sighing I didn’t argue with her. I had already texted Massimo that I was getting ready and received ‘okay’ as the response.

"You don’t have any sexy dresses," I heard her say, and then she left the room. After a moment, she came back with a nude, sexy sequined mini dress with a deep V-neck. Though it was a full sleeve and would have covered my neck and shoulder, that didn’t change the fact that the valley of my breast would be on full display. Not just that, but that dress was only thigh-length.
