"So, the chapter of your fake name ends here," Dad said when I kept staring outside the window. My head snapped in his direction. He looked extremely happy with my decision; if the situation had been different, I would have thought of him as my enemy who was enjoying my misery.

But I knew he was happy with my decision to return home and concentrate on myself.

"This is not my fake name, Dad. I have lived half of my life with this name. So, you can call it my other name. Just like actors and actresses have different stage names," I said.

"That’s like my daughter," He grinned. "Everyone says that I’m good at pointing out sensible things after your mother’s trial when she was framed to kill her own parents, your grandparents."

I smiled, realizing what he had been trying to do previously. He wanted to start a conversation with his daughter, who was ignoring him.

"So, you mean to say that I’m like you?"

"I doubt that part. You’re like your mother, but a little better. Not that I d
