Chapter 11

RAVEN POV

I should have known it would get to this, but I also wasn't scared of ‘this’.

Having seen the anger on my Father's face, I managed a smile and bowed. “Forgive me, Father, but I was having my bath.”

My Mother glanced at me, then at the Alpha who heaved a sigh. He pointed at the living room area.

“That is where we'll have the meeting. Your mother and I will join you shortly.”

I turned around, leading my way to the living room where a seat was taken. And in moments, I could hear footsteps from behind.

When I persisted a little, my parents were in front of me and not with a smile. What did I need a smile for?

I wasn't smiling, either, but patiently waiting to hear what they had to say.

“It's a good thing to see your face again, Raven,” it was Mother who said when the place was silent for too long.

“I thought by now that you'll show your face to us, but what do you do?
