Staying for the night

“Oh no, you've go to be kidding me right now. “ I thought with a hot feeling of anger rising up in me as I stared at Wendy.

“The drama just keeps getting better.” Nova remarked sarcastically.

I couldn’t take my angry eyes that glared with a burning intensity off Wendy. She was obviously here to cause trouble yet again.

“Well look at that,” Jeremy said in a bored tone. “It's Wendy, what could have possibly brought her around this time?” There was a thoughtful look ok his face as he stared at her curiously.

Wendy’s eyes met mine and we stared at each other for a while, her eyes menacing and sinister, while mine were angry and confused by her sudden, unwanted presence. Wendy was the last person I wanted to see right now, especially because I had just a little over a month left to complete my mission. Her unannounced arrival and the unnecessary drama that was sure to follow, were only distractions that would slow me down and frustrate me in the process.
