ARES’S POV

Jeremy stayed in my office and we smoked cigarettes while we went over some documents concerning the pack office. Things were going fine, I didn’t even have to bother to go there anymore. Since uncle Lawrence’s visit, there was no one I had talked to about what he said. Although I felt like Jeremy was keeping somethings away from me, he was still the only one I could speak to about it.

“When do you plan on leaving?” I asked after he closed a folder.

“Tomorrow, we don’t want to waste time any longer.” He replied.

“No, leave in the next three days, I have somethings I need you to help me sort out.” I said and looked at him to see if he had any objections.

“Well, alright then, that’s not a problem.” He said, shrugging his shoulders.

“Why do I have the feeling Dahlia put you up to this?” I asked, watching him very closely, his eyes darted around uneasily.

“Why would you think that?” He asked with a nervous smile.

“First, Dahlia asked me for permission to go to that curse
