The wind was surprisingly calming, and my nerves were a lot more stable. I watched from the balcony, as some couples snuck into the garden and stole kisses. Giggling like children as they looked around if anyone had seen them.

They couldn't see me, but I could see them so clearly from up here. Suddenly, I missed Iris. I wished she were here. I wished I could hold her like the couples down dare and not give a damn.
