Alice was talking with Dave when suddenly he offered his hand.

Alice looked at his hand and then at him.

"What?" She asked.

"Dance with me."

Alice shook her head. "No, you should dance with Suzan. Let me call her."

Dave shook his head and held her hand. They were at the corner so everyone might not be noticing them but when Dave held her hand and pulled her to the dance floor everyone's eyes were on them.

"When a king asks you to dance, you can not say no to him, honey bee. It's a ball party. Everyone can dance with everyone and no one will mind it." Dave said and put her hand on his shoulder.

Alice looked around and saw the grim eyes of her officials.

She looked away and glanced at Dave.

"I know about you and others."

Dave frowned. "Know about what?"

"That you all were best friends."

Dave's steps were paused for a moment. Then he began to dance again.

"Who told you about us? Dylan?"

Alice shook her head. "Ashar told me."

"So he still misses me?"

"No. He just told me about you all
