Alice was shocked. 'Searched for him? Why?'

She wanted to ask Xavier about it but the way he said he was not in the place to tell her about it, so Alice thought she could not just force him to spill anything that he did not want to tell her.

Alice nodded. "Okay. What about after the decision? Were all the pack members happy about it?"

Xavier shook his head. "No, they were not happy at all. Because when Dylan became the head Alpha, he promised everyone that he would give them their fated Luna, not any other woman who would come and become the Queen of this realm."

Alice understood Dylan was talking about Suzan's mother at that time. She became Queen after marrying Alpha Devin. She was not his fated mate but a second wife of the Alpha King.
