Chapter 90

Bailey’s fists were clenched as she marched into the pack house, her heart pounding with anger and frustration. She had always been a strong and resilient woman, but the principal’s words had cut deep, making her feel like she didn't belong in her own skin. She had always known that the human world wouldn't understand her, but to be insulted so blatantly by someone in a position of authority was almost too much to bear.

As she entered the main hall of the pack house, she saw her father, the beta, sitting at a table, looking through some papers. She ran over to him, her eyes filled with tears.

"Dad, you won't believe what happened at school today," Bailey said, her voice shaking with emotion. "The principal said something terrible about us. About our pack. About me!"

Her father looked up, his expression full of concern. "What did he say, sweetheart?"
