Seth’s POV

As Hunter and I entered the meeting room, the atmosphere shifted immediately. The men who had been ranting and talking fell silent, their eyes turning to us with surprise and curiosity. I could see it on their faces—they didn’t expect Hunter to call this meeting. Not after the last one where he gave them no hope, no direction.

The pack had been left hanging, unsure of where we stood after our enemies had attacked us. The uncertainty had worn on them, and it was all written on their faces.

I knew some of them weren’t entirely happy with Hunter, especially after how distant he’d been lately. They wanted him to take action, to lead them like the Alpha he used to be, but lately, it felt like he had been lost or less concerned about the pack’s troubles. Even so, no one dared question his authority outright.

After all, he was still their Alpha, and the entire mission had originated from him.

As I scanned the room, I could see the indifferent expressions on some of the men’s fac

Akira’s POVTaking care of things around the estate had become something I unexpectedly grew to love. At first, I thought it was punishment for my betrayal, but over time, it became one of my favorite ways to spend the day.The garden, the kitchen, the grocery runs—it all brought a sense of peace to me, like I was part of something bigger than myself. Although, Hunter had told me several times that I didn’t need to do the work. He suggested I leave it to the workers, but I refused. There was something soothing about being busy, about putting my energy into making this place feel like home. I loved cooking and helping out in the kitchen, loved the quiet moments in the garden, watering the plants and caring for the rose bushes. The memory ground, where we honored fallen pack members, became a place where I could reflect. And then there was the library—my personal sanctuary. I could spend hours there, losing myself in the old, musty books. This was my way of escaping the past, of rede

Akira’s POVThe gentle breeze blew across the garden, causing the flowers to sway softly, their fragrance filling the air. I took a deep breath, hoping the sweet aroma from the flower would somehow ease the restless thoughts racing through my mind. Ever since my conversation with August, guilt had been gnawing at me instead of the peace I had hoped to find. The first feeling of guilt came from the way I might have led August on. Maybe he believed there could be something more between us, something romantic. I hadn't meant to mislead him, but I couldn’t shake the thought that perhaps my actions, my kindness, had made him believe I wanted a relationship. When he walked away that day, it hurt me. Not because I wanted to be with him, but because I had never meant to make him feel rejected or like an enemy.Looking back, there had been moments when I thought August might have been the right person for me. When things weren’t going well between Hunter and me, I wondered if August would b

Jackson’s POVWhen my guards informed me that Akira was here to see me, I couldn’t help but feel a surge of eagerness. I knew she wouldn’t come all this way for nothing. She had to have vital information for me, something I could use. But as much as I wanted to see her and hear what she had to say, I couldn’t afford to be careless. Akira might have been working for me, but I wasn’t stupid. Trust wasn’t something I gave freely.I ordered my guards to search her thoroughly. I didn’t want any surprises—a wired tape, a hidden weapon, anything that could pose a threat. Thirty minutes later, they finally let her approach. I watched as she entered the room, her eyes scanning her surroundings, something she always do even though she has been her a couple of times, before locking onto me.“Akira,” I called out with a forced smile that didn’t reach my eyes. I knew she could see through my facade, but I didn’t care.“Oh please, Jackson,” she replied, rolling her eyes as she sat down without wa

Hunter’s POVSeth pointed at the map on the table, tracing a route with his finger. “It has been confirmed that Jackson will still go for the meeting, so the operation will still be taking place ,” he said, his voice steady. “If we’re lucky, he won’t use any other route except the one he always takes.”I glanced at Akira to make sure she was following. She nodded, her face calm, but I could sense the tension beneath her cool exterior. She had to be nervous. We all were, even if we didn’t show it. This operation was a double attack that had to be executed perfectly. If anything went wrong, we might end up losing more lives.Seth kept talking, his eyes flicking between the map and us. “Akira,” he said, looking at her directly now, “you remember everything I said, right? It can get intense out there. You need to be able to act fast.”Akira nodded again, her expression unchanging. “I remember everything,” she replied, her voice steady.Seth didn’t seem convinced. He studied her for a mo

Akira’s POVThe night of the mission had arrived, and my heart pounded in my chest as Hunter fastened the belt of my black outfit—a sleek combination of fitted trousers, a bodycon top, and comfortable boots. He had picked the outfit himself, saying black was ideal for blending into the darkness. I agreed with him. The less attention I attracted, the better.Once he was done adjusting my belt, he stepped back, his sharp gaze sweeping over me to make sure everything was in place. He nodded, satisfied. “All good and ready to go,” he said, a smile playing on his lips.“Thank you,” I replied, leaning in to give him a quick kiss. He smiled back, but there was something in his eyes; it was concern and fear. His expression softened as he spoke.“Doll,” he began, his voice low and serious, “you know you can still back out if you want. I can handle rescuing the girls with the men. I don’t want to see you get hurt.”I rolled my eyes, but the gesture was playful. “Sweetie, we’ve been over this. N

Akira’s POVI quietly pushed the door open, revealing the familiar dark tunnel that led underground. The tunnel was almost pitch black, and as I stepped inside, I hesitated. I had completely forgotten about the torch the guards used when they dragged me down here before. How could I have been so unprepared?“Damn it,” I muttered under my breath, frustration bubbling up inside me. I could feel the eyes of Hunter’s men on my back. Great, I was already making a fool of myself.Suddenly, a soft click came from behind me, and the tunnel lit up slightly. I turned to see Hunter holding a small flashlight, the beam casting a vivid glow on his face. He winked at me, a smile playing on his lips. “I came prepared,” he whispered.Relief flooded through me, and I couldn’t help but smile back at him. He was always one step ahead, always looking out for me. ‘This man is just a darling,’ I thought to myself, and he must have sensed my thoughts because his smile widened even more. With the flashli

Seth’s POVThe evening was still, but something didn’t sit right with me. My instincts were going wild. I couldn’t shake off this strange feeling—a pull in my gut that told me we needed to leave for the ambush earlier than planned. Without wasting any time, I gathered my men and ordered them to get ready. Their surprised faces met mine, but none of them questioned me. They knew better. They could feel and see the seriousness in my face, the kind that only comes when something big is about to go down. When my men came out of the building, ready and equipped, I stood there watching them. They were all solid warriors, but one face stood out—August. His eyes were on me, questioning. I knew those look, his inquisitive side was probably questioning why we are leaving early then planned. He was a man who always like to speak up.As I approached the truck, August walked right into me, colliding with my shoulder. I shot him an annoyed glance.“I thought I was supposed to follow Hunter,” he s

Hunter’s POVThe early morning air was crisp as I stepped out of the truck, the first rays of sunlight slowly creeping over the horizon. Akira, my men, and I had just returned from the mission to rescue the women, and everything had gone better than expected. As I took in a deep breath, the tension from the night’s events slowly melted away. It felt good to be back home, back at the estate, back to my pack; it’s not every time we have such a successful operation especially when things had been chaos lately. I turned to my men, who were still unloading the trucks and helping the rescued women.“You all did well today,” I said with a proud smile, patting one of the men on the back. “I’m proud of you all.”They grinned at me, their faces showing both exhaustion and relief. “Thanks, Alpha,” they said in unison before getting back to work, guiding the women into the worker’s estate where they could rest.Akira appeared by my side, her soft hand resting on my shoulder as she smiled up at

Akira’s POVI stood by the window of my room, dressed in my wedding gown; something I had once thought I might never wear. The white fabric felt cool against my skin, flowing down to the floor in elegant waves. The sun outside was setting, forming warm golden hues over the trees and hills. It was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony Hunter and I had decided on— a wedding in the heart of the estate, surrounded by our pack.I couldn’t stop smiling. The happiness that had been radiating from me since the moment Hunter proposed refused to fade. Everything felt… right. The pack was thriving, and after months of challenges and uncertainty, the members now looked at me as their Luna. When did that happen? Was it when I stood up to Jackson’s men and rescued the kidnapped school children? Or was it the day I killed Jackson myself, ending his trafficking business? Maybe it was when August confessed to the crimes I had been wrongfully accused of. I wasn’t sure exactly when the shift occurred

  • Alpha's Mission: Bound by Fate   Chapter 180

Hunter’s POVThe flower room was where I always found Akira when she needed a different kind of solace. It was her sanctuary— and, over time, it became mine too. The scent of roses, in full bloom, mixed with the faint traces of her unique floral aroma. This room was more than just a collection of beautiful flowers; it held the memories of us. We had laughed here, fought here, and even shared our most intimate moments. It was the one place where we could be ourselves without interruptions from pack members, guards, or the chaos of leadership. With two glasses of blood wine in my hands, I entered the room, a smile tugging at my lips. Akira was seated on the wooden bench surrounded by cascading vines of red and pink roses. Her eyes were closed as she took in a deep breath of the fragrant air, a small, contented smile curving her lips.I leaned against the doorframe for a moment, just watching her; my mate. How did I get so lucky to have someone like her?“Enjoying yourself?” I teased, s

Akira’s POVHunter and I prepared for the council meeting even though the atmosphere was tensed. It was the first time in years that he and the Council of Older Alphas were in agreement over anything. For once, the council wasn’t against us, and this time, the stakes were higher than ever. They had come to us in desperation, pleading for help to stop Alpha Lupin—my father. According to them, Lupin had grown more dangerous, killing four older alphas who dared to stand against him. They called him a tyrant, a rogue disguised as a leader, but I didn’t need their words to convince me.I had seen it with my own eyes. The memory of my father’s hands around my throat, squeezing the life out of me, still haunted my dreams. The man I had once admired as a little girl had turned into a monster, and now, the entire werewolf community feared him.Hunter, however, was hesitant to get involved. When the council approached us, their desperation clear, Hunter had outright refused. "These are the sa

Akira’s POVThe morning light filtered through my bedroom window as I stared at the message on my phone for the seventh time that day.“Hello baby girl, it’s Dad. Can you please come home? I miss you and wish to see you. Love, Dad.”I sighed, the words blurring as I read them again. It wasn’t the first message I had received from him, but it was the first one I seriously considered answering. The last time I saw my father— alive and breathing— I had frozen in fear. The café where we had met had felt like a dream, a surreal encounter with a ghost from my past.Hunter’s words echoed in my mind from the other night under the oak tree. At least he’s alive. That should bring you peace. Was it peace? I didn’t know anymore. I was glad I hadn’t pulled the trigger that night, but knowing what my father had done, maybe I should have. The lives he ruined, the people he hurt— those memories haunted me. But I wasn’t the one to pass judgment on his life.Still, I had questions. I needed answers— no

  • Alpha's Mission: Bound by Fate   Chapter 177

Hunter’s POVThe cool evening breeze brushed against my face as I stood in the middle of the memorial grounds. The air was heavy with the scent of damp earth and pine, mingling with the subtle hint of tension that seemed to pulse from the men standing behind me. They were all here— every pack member I could summon at a moment’s notice. They were confused, of course.Meetings like this were typically held in the hall, not out here among the graves of our fallen brothers and sisters. Some assumed I had gathered them here to honor those we’d lost, but that wasn’t the reason. My eyes scanned the quiet land that has the ashes of each one of the pack member remembering the lives we’d buried. Here was a reminder of the failures that had led us here. But tonight wasn’t about mourning. It was about justice. It had been over an hour since I sent word for August to meet us, and, as usual, he was late. I gritted my teeth. He always made a show of being unreachable, of having something more imp

  • Alpha's Mission: Bound by Fate   Chapter 176

Hunter’s POVThe night was calm, with a gentle breeze rustling the leaves of the old oak tree under which Akira often sat. The moon hung low in the sky, casting a silver glow over the pack's territory. The chilly air was soothing, but I doubted it could ease the storm inside me.I hadn’t found Akira in our room earlier, but I knew where she’d be. The oak tree had always been her refuge— a place where she could think. As I walked toward it, my mind replayed the shocking revelations Adolf had shared.I knew tonight’s conversation would be heavy, and I hoped the peaceful night would soften the blow. When I reached the tree, there she was, sitting on the swing attached to one of its sturdy branches. Her dark hair swayed in the breeze, and her hands rested limply on her lap. She was lost in thought, so much so that she didn’t even notice me approach.I stepped closer and sat beside her, the creak of the wooden swing breaking the silence. I turned to look at her, and my chest tensed. Her fa

Hunter’s POVI sat in the corner of the faintly lit pub, my hood pulled low over my face. The smell of stale beer and fried food mixed with the faint tang of sweat and spilled liquor in the air. It was noisy, crowded, and the last place anyone would expect to find me—Hunter Silver, Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack.I hated being here. Not just because it was beneath me, but because it was dangerous. Any one of my enemies could be watching, ready to strike. But Adolf had insisted on meeting here, saying he had critical information about the spy in my pack. It wasn’t every day someone dared to exploit me, and I wanted to see if he was bluffing.I checked my watch for what felt like the hundredth time. One hour late. My patience was wearing thin. If Adolf doesn’t show up soon, I’m dragging his sorry ass here myself, I thought, clenching my jaw.The occasional whispers and stolen glances from the people sitting and drinking in the pub annoyed me. Some of the people there had recognized me bu

Akira’s POVI sat cross-legged on my bed, staring blankly at the open book in my lap. The words on the page blurred together, no matter how hard I tried to focus. I must have read the same paragraph ten times, but nothing stuck. I find myself reading the same passage close to ten times. My brain was like an empty cavern, unable to process anything. It wasn’t the book’s fault. My thoughts were consumed by the nightmare I’d had last night. Or was it a dream? I wasn’t sure, but whatever it was, it had shaken me to my core.Hunter had tried to reassure me. “Dreams are just your mind playing tricks, you should pay more attention on it,” he’d said earlier, pulling me close as I recounted the strange experience. But no matter how many times he said it, I couldn’t shake the feeling that the dream meant something. And aside what it truly meant, everything thing in that dream felt real, especially when my father was stabbing those women, those helpless women who did nothing wrong to him. Com

August’s POVThe transformation was startling. I stood by the door, watching Alpha Lupin comb his fingers through his now neatly trimmed hair, gathering it into a bun that gave him a sharp, almost regal look.He had trimmed his once unruly beard, and the wildness that had consumed him in the cave was now masked beneath a calculated exterior. Yet, his eyes—those sharp, piercing eyes—still burned with the same ruthlessness that had once made him the most feared name in our world. It wasn’t his appearance that commanded respect; it was the aura that clung to him, dark and unyielding. He wasn’t just an alpha—he was a force of nature, the kind that toppled hierarchies and sent seasoned wolves cowering.“Looking good,” I said with a sly grin, arms crossed as I leaned against the wall.Lupin turned to me, his lips curling in a faint smirk. “Good enough to reclaim what’s mine?”“More than,” I replied. My chest swelled with pride. Today was the day I proved my loyalty—and my cunning. The counc
