It slowly lowered his body, just like a predator ready for a chase, and Elsa could only think of one thing.

Run!!!

With a harsh kick on the door, she rolled out of almost compressed car. Darting into the woods as fast as a bullet, and also as blind as one.

"Shit...shit...shit...shit..." Low curses tumbled out of her lips as she stumbled along. The soil was moist under her feet and her drumming heartbeat was all she could hear.

The moon was high up in the sky, glowing in all it's splendor and a loud howl vibrated through the trees.

Elsa legs wavered in the brink of collapse but she dared not stop knowing well what was in store for. White cloud of cold smoke puffed out of her mouths, with one hand hauling her gown up to her chest, both heels lost without a care.

The constant pump of adrenaline in her veins made her unable to think about how she ended up in such situation, only the fight for a surviving chance remained.

"Arrrhhhhhggg......" A loud roar came from behind her and she kicked over a sharp stone, tumbled over a few time before regaining herself. Sprinting even faster while ignoring the harsh pains in her legs.

'oh my father's in heaven, I really don't remember angering anyone recently. If I did, which is probably unconsciously, I am ready repent oh Lord.... Budha.... Allah.... anybody up there!!

Elsa gritted her teeth, her face was as pale as a white shit of paper as the cold wind slapped on her face unforgiving.

The sudden disappearance of the pursuer behind her took her a while to notice, as she threw a cursory glance back.

'Wait was my prayer answered?' she doubted. 'so fast?'

She barely had time to organize her thoughts when she ran straight into a tree.

"Fucking shit!!" She bounced back by a few steps, collapsing on the ground. The dull pain attacked her head from all sides and droplets of tears squeezed out of her eyes.

'it hurts..it fucking hurts..'

She felt something cold running down her nose. And only when she held out her hand did she realized what it was. 'blood.'

She didn't know how far she has run, nor where the wolf chasing after her was gone. She prayed it was all a dream that she would wake up from soon.

But reality proved otherwise.

The shrill sound of a twig snapping came from behind and she tensed up. Completely petrified.

Her lips wobbled as she slowly turned her head around to lock eyes with two crazed yellow ones that made her stomach flip.

"Shit!" With a loud cry she managed to slip pass the claws of the wolf as it threw itself at her.

All thoughts of cleanliness and dignity tossed to the back of her mind as she scrambled on the dirt to get away until she backed up against a tree.

With no where to run, Elsa was left staring at the wolf who stared back at her aggressively. Thick, threads of saliva running down the zagged shape of his teeth.

Her perfectly manicured fingers digged into dirt.

The silence streched like am entirety and her mind was like a blank sheet.

Throwing all caution to the wind she opened her mouth and issued a shrill yell.

"Help!! Someone help me!!" She screamed on top of her lungs.

There's got to be someone around. Right?

The wolf growled, giving her the inkling it wanted her to shut up, but it only made her shout even louder.

"Help me!! Please help me, I will do anything... I have a lot of money.... godddam it I will pay you as much as you want...please ....."

'some one, anyone....

"Help—" Elsa felt the word die in her mouth, as the wolf, finally pissed off, dived at her.

'so this is how I die?' Her lungs contracted with a deep sense of fear. Eyes automatically snapping shut.

Her fingers digged into the tree's bark as a gush of wind breezd past her neck, freezing her blood, with her nerves stone tensed. And her heart stopped.

One second.....

Two second.....

Three second....

Four.....

'seconds?' Her eyes slowly creaked open. One after the other.

'i should be dead..but why do I feel that I am not?'

Her vision slowly climbed up. From a pair of long legs hidden behind a navy blue, suit pant, up to a well buttoned white sleeve with rolled up sleeve revealing the right amount of slim muscles. Then there was that face that she could easily recognize from a crowd.

She stared at him, mouth agape.

She definitely would have doubted it if they hadn't had an encounter some while ago and he wasn't wearing exactly the same thing at the party event earlier.

'Alexander??'

His eyes glanced down at her and Elsa could swear she saw a flicker of red in them, then he turned back to the big wolf who was groaning miserably on the ground.

'Exactly what did I miss..?' Elsa's eyelashes fluttered open and close in a daze.

As if hesitating, the big wolf growled a few times at them and Elsa could slightly sense it's fear and reluctance towards Alexander.

Although she didn't know why, she quietly moved behind his muscular form, and after a bout of hesitation, peeked out a bit.

She had a feeling something she wouldn't want to miss was about to happen.

As if finally settling on a decision, the wolf threw all caution the the wind. Aiming right at Alexander.

"Oh my God.....oh my God...." Elsa barely had time to close her eyes when another wolf jumped out of a bush, slamming right into the first. The two engaged into a fit of combats. Snapping at each other.

'The fuck in hell is going on?' Elsa was frozen in shock.

"Don't move." Alexander spoke right then and she reflexively glanced at him.

More wolves were starting to appear. Whether enemies or allies, Elsa couldn't tell. But three stalked towards them preparing to attack.

'how come they are so much?'

"What are you doing....let's go." Elsa instinctively grabbed on Alexander's wrist in front of her, prepared to run.

"I said not to move." Alexander's unhurried voice had her taking a deep breath. He reversed the grip and pushed her to stand behind him while his other hand struck right into the head of the nearest wolf.

Crack. It split open, causing a splash of red blood with pieces of brain matters and the body dropped dead on the floor.

Alexander handled the other two equally easily. This time aiming at their necks.

And at the end of the short fight, Elsa had her eyes wide open as she stared at him.

The goosebumps on her skin like the size of a pimple and her guts in her mouth.

A monster.

Elsa felt guilty when she realized that Jay was actually Alexander's sister. Yet considering that they had only met once, which was during their small court marriage, she thought it was not that expected. Jay was a quiet person. Standing at a height that was almost a full head taller than her, she was slim, but not thin. Her dark, black hair just below her shoulder. Enclosing a face devoid of emotion. There was a considerate amount of files piled on her desk when she arrived at the office. And Elsa had the assistant get her a new phone which she used to contact Dora. "Hello." The phone line connected after the second ring. "It's me." Elsa said, leaning against her chair. The walls of the large district office of GLINT jewelries. "I....." "Elsa? Goodness Elsa." The voice from the other side of the phone was full of worry. "Two days! I haven't been able to reached you for a whole two days. She went to a restaurant close to the company with Jay, all the while thinking about how to shake her off and escape her surveillance. The sun was hanging behind the sea of clouds and the weather was warm. There was not much customers in the restaurant and of the twelve tables only three was occupied, including the one they were sitting. Jay was silent as she ate and Elsa who wasn't used to such quietness was itching with something to talk about. After a bout of going back and forth in her head, she opened her mouth and asked. "Do you know why does wolves are targeting Alexander?" Jay paused. Taking a while to respond. "They are rogues." Elsa was confused. "What are rogues?" "Wolves that don't belong to a pack." Jay replied, not one word extra. It reminded her of Alexander. Very stingy with words. 'It sure runs in the family.' Elsa thought as she continued to ask. "I also don't know what that is." The other lady looked like she was having a hard time putting her thoughts in

One man and woman pretending to be a couple, she had seen them while checking out of the hotel. She didn't think too much at first, but they just didn't look like people who were traveling nor waiting for someone at the airport. The last one was a man dressed in all black. He was huge and had an intimidating appearance. His hair was shaven clean and not a single speck of dust was to be seen on his bald head that reflected the lights from above. Elsa tried not to stare at them. The announcement was going off for different flights but hers won't be for another two hours. There were people arriving and departing and the night didn't lessen the number of people loitering around. 'They won't attack me here, right? There is so many people. I should be fine.' Surprisingly Elsa slept until dawn without a single nightmare. Slipping out of the bed, she first drew the curtains open and let the early morning sun drive away the darkness in the room. Elsa muttered under her breath. She then fixed the bed and sat down to call Dora. "So you are still alive?" The cold laugh that came from the phone the moment it connected made her fidget with anxiety. "Why don't you check your phone and see just how many calls there is?" Dora continued sharply, her words angry and equally exhausted. "I have been calling you for the whole of the night! You said not to come but you aren't telling me anything and it is killing me!! Then, unexpectedly, a voice broke through the quietude. "I am here, my love," it whispered, a gentle breeze carrying the words right past Elsa's ear. Startled, Elsa couldn't help but call out, "Alex?!" Her voice trembled as she scanned the moonlit surroundings, her hair tousled by the warm midnight breeze. "Alex?" She called out again, desperation creeping into her voice as her heart sank upon realizing he wasn't there. "Was it all a hallucination?" Elsa wondered aloud, suppressing the lump in her throat. "Alexandra," she whispered, choking back tears, "I'm so scared." "I'm sorry," the voice responded, this time from beside her. "I was late." Elsa hesitated, torn between hope and disbelief. But when she turned around, there he was, the person she longed to see the most. "Alexander?!" "I'm here," he reassured her,

The realization struck Prince Ryan like a bolt of lightning, and he flinched. "You're pregnant?!"Elsa, lost in the depths of despair, remained oblivious to his words. Her entire focus was on the pain that radiated from her stomach, a pain that seemed to echo in her heart. The physical pain was excruciating, but it was nothing compared to the turmoil inside her. Her heart pounded with a fear that went beyond herself.'Are they okay? They are okay, right? Oh—my children.' With it's huge, mutilated fingers tightened around his neck, the demon flung him many feet away like a rag toy. As if to declare it's superiority, it heavily pounded on his chest before letting out another loud roar. With blood dripping from her hand she poured every single strength she could muster into the grip and then *crack* The lycan howled in agony as his claws shattered like fragile glass, staggering some feet back. Elsa didn't give it a chance to retreat, with her fist tightly clenched, she threw a powerful punch which sent the lycan rolling more than ten feets away, kicking up dust as it's body collapsed heavily on the ground.
