First Victim:
Analise Nesperato, 18 years old. He has curly red hair and green eyes. On probation period for three weeks. The last known associates are the following: Lestine, and Magda. Last seen, walking alone back to the barracks around ten in the evening after having drinks with Delta Selene and Delta Vicky. By eleven roll calls, she never showed up. She was found two days later beside a ravine naked, sliced open from her neck to her privates. All her internal organs are complete and intact.
Eliminates black market organ harvest.
Second Victim
Erika Palace, 23 years old. Short dark brown hair, dark brown eyes. On probation for 29 days. The last known associates are Emily and Ben. Last seen, in the town dancing with humans. She was found after three days inside the garbage dump, her eyes and mouth sewn shut. Both limbs are intertwined with silver barbwires laced with wolfsbane.
Hopefully the last victim,
Alexis Mar'tine, 21 years old. Blonde mid-length hair with dark blue eyes. On probation for 2 weeks. Last known associates everyone. Friendly in nature. Last seen, attending the garden before the rain started around four in the afternoon. Discovered two days ago. She was found bolted upside down in a tree. Her eyes were wide open.
Commonalities:
All of them are Omegas.
All are still on probation.
All are female.
Differences:
They don’t have the same appearance.
Everyone has a different hairstyle and color.
"Do these three Omegas know each other?" Velmont asks.
"Yes, we only have one barracks for all probations." Alpha Qillalon respond.
"I see."
"I think we need to speak to the last people who saw them alive. Let’s start with Selene and Vicky," Gertrude suggested.
"Yeah. Good, old, tedious detective work. Are these people awake right now?"
Alpha Qillalon frowns then says, "They are not here at the moment, but they’ll be back later in the day around noon."
"Great, let’s take a rest for now. At noon, I will resume with the witnesses." Velmont says.
Alpha Qillalon nodded and then left them. He stayed outside for a while to listen.
"Silencio!" Gertrude mumbles. A clear bubble shows up and covers the whole room. It’s her magic so that the wolves can’t hear them.
"What do you think about that one?" She asks while glancing at his face, waiting for any reaction.
"Well, it's too early for that. We can’t trust anyone. We are in the middle of a place littered with wolves. They could kill us here and no one would even know."
"What do you think about the case? These girls". She asks while staring at the photographs of the Omegas before and after they were found. "Poor souls."
"Whoever did this is insane. We need to move fast to find this killer before he gets another victim."
"That’s the same thing I have in mind. I’ll walk outside for a while to where the bodies are found and see if there’s magic involved in their deaths."
Alpha Qillalon stood near their room for more than ten minutes but heard nothing. He finally left afterward.

Gertrude discreetly walks outside to the tree where Alexis' body was found. She can still see and smell the blood. The hole from the bolts that were used to hang her body upside down can be seen on the tree. "A tree." She mumbles. "An innocent thing witnesses a gruesome crime and can’t even tell the complete story."
She circled the tree and mumbled a few incantations, but it turned to nothing. Based on Qillalon’s records, there’s no forensic evidence found on the body, bolts, or the tree. The rain might have washed it out and, unfortunately, she can’t find any magic evidence that might help catch the killer or killers.
She then moved to the ravine and repeated the same incantation. It returned nothing either. Lastly, she tried the farthest and dirtiest place. The smell of filth, rot, and mud engulfs her. She repeated the same incantation while she fought the urge to vomit. After a while, a faint color shone in the middle of the dump. She walks close to it and uncovers a small golden charm that looks like it is part of an old relic. "Time for research." She mumbles to herself.

Velmont walks the same route Analise took after she drank with the Delta. He found that the route had a lot of turns and everything was obscured by trees. The walk also takes almost twenty minutes in a normal phase, which means the killer has a lot of time and a chance to abduct any prey. He tried checking every tree as he walked back to the main building and found a piece of garment, black silk, on one of the branches. He took it and put it in an evidence bag for Gertrude to use her magic. Wishing magic can lift the footprint of the killer.
While Velmont and Gertrude are busy investigating. A shadow lurks in the Omegas chambers. Walking from one room to the other as if looking for something or someone. Then, in the last chamber, he opened it wide, and all four occupants woke up almost at the same time. The smell of alcohol and tobacco punches them awake. They all stared at the man at the door. His shadow is menacing, his aura is dominating. He entered the room and his face was finally shown. It’s Alpha Cain.
"Who among you is Vesper?" he yelled.
She raises her hand. "I’m Vesper, Alpha Cain." She says in a weak tone.
"Come here!" He demanded.
She immediately stood up and walked towards him. He held her by the neck, almost lifting her from the floor. Her eyes widened in horror, she did not speak as she was scared that her voice might irritate him even further.
The other three occupants want to follow them, but they are frightened. They can only stare at each other in confusion and fear.
In the next few minutes, the whole barracks heard the loud sound of a whip hitting the pavement. As if telling them that something was about to happen and it did. The next sound is a loud outburst of pain. Cry for help. As the whip hit Vesper’s bareback. Almost taking parts of her flesh on every strike. Followed by the smell of blood in the air. All Omegas tremble. Even Gamma Sevy, who was watching, pitied the bloodied girl. The whipping lasted for half an hour, and they already lost count of how many times they heard the whip penetrate her flesh.
Vesper Miles was left alone in a dark cell in the basement. In a kneeling position, both arms are chained in the opposite direction. Alpha Cain never explains why he did it, but she has an idea.
Shortly, the scent of the Alpha vanished, assured that the coast was cleared, she began to gently dislocate her hands to remove her chains. Trying her very best not to make too much sound as her bones began to break into fragments.
“Ahhhh.. Shit!” She says in a low voice, almost whispering. Both of her arms are bloody and dislocated, her thumbs hanging for their dear life. Her movement accidentally removed the ring on her forefinger, and it rolled on the floor, stared at it for a moment. Soon a low sizzling sound emerged in the four corners of the basement room. In an instant, her hands were back to normal, and her pale face and sunken eyes changed to rosy cheeks and dark mesmerizing eyes.
She sighs deeply then marches towards the ring, picks it up, and wears it immediately. Shortly, her face turns pale and sunken again.
"Things I do for justice." She says to herself as she discreetly leaves the basement to continue her night watch.
VELMONT and Gertrude are standing in Mauritius’ study room waiting for his arrival. Shortly, they were joined by the Elder."Nice to see both of you again. How long has it been?" Mauritius asks, in a friendly tone."Almost 40 years, my friend," Velmont responded, then gave a friendly hug."Ha! That’s a lot of years and yet both of you never aged a day." He responds.Gertrude welcomed the Elder with a warm hug, "But you aged like a fine wine. Look at you. Still amazing. Dominating. Full of life." She commented and then planted a kiss on both of Mauritius' cheeks.Mauritius grinned, "Dear Gertrude, you never fail to provide the best compliments as always." He opens one of his drawers, shows a picture to them, and then asks, "Do you still remember when and where this photo was taken?"Velmont nods."Of course. Paris, France 1967." Gertrude responded while smiling, reminiscing how they solved the issue with the blood hunters on New Year's Eve. The photograph shows the triumphant smile of
VESPER woke up from her slumber. She could smell her blood and she hated it. For her, there’s nothing more shameful than smelling your own. The whole room reeks of the scent of her blood from the beatings she got last night, she sniffs the air and aside from her, no one’s inside or nearby. She’s alone. She could feel her body healing itself, too fast, and she needed to slow the process. After her night watch, she injured herself before returning to the basement. This is to reopen the wounds and to lose more blood, but she still heals fast. Something she doesn't need. She needs to look helpless, weak, and docile. "What I did last night was not a good idea. Now I can only feel hunger and exhaustion." She mumbles to herself.Being alone with only her thoughts, she began to recollect the reason why she was there. "I’m sure it was that woman. What’s her name again? Ah! I remember. It’s Selene." She thought to herself. She was jolted back to her senses when she heard the door being open.
Saturday at three o’clock in the afternoon. It’s Evie, Jolly, Sebastian, and Sander’s first time to undergo the Citadel training. The four newcomers glance at each other and at the space between them. There are supposedly five of them but still no sign of Vesper. Even after three days since her punishment, they never saw her again.Delta Dimitry facilitated the training. First is the warm-up, then almost an hour's run along the Citadel Manor premises. Jolly can no longer take it and slowly moves to Gamma Sevy, who’s running behind them."Gamma? How is she?" She asks in a soft voice."Alive!" The Gamma replied nonchalantly.Delta Dimitry then yelled, "Miss Emberville, do you want to be with Miss Miles?" Her whole body trembled as she reminisced the sound of lashes and Vesper’s whimpers."No, Sir!" She replied in fear.Emily saw her reaction and slowly moved towards her to console her and ran together till they all became breathless. After one hour of running, they start the course cons
TEN forty-five in the evening.Gamma Sevy hurriedly ran back to Vesper. His mind is racing. A series of questions were running around his brain."Why did she shriek?”“Did someone attack her?”“Is it the Omega killer?”“Should I call for backup?”“Fuck!"Breathless, he arrives at the training course only to find Vesper cowering behind a tree staring at someone in the distance. His heart was pounding hard. He’s about to howl, but when he sniffs the air, he calms himself. He smelt lilacs."Alpha Qillalon!" he yells. The man then walks towards them. Vesper steps back a little as he gets near them."Don’t be scared, Vesper," Gamma Sevy mumbles."Me telling someone else not to be scared, but I’m also terrified." Gamma Sevy thought to himself. She then lowered her head and apologized. "I’m sorry, Alpha! I was startled and I panicked." She kept her head low as she didn't want them to see her reddening face. "How can he sneak up on me like that? I almost lost it and revealed myself. I was luc
SUNDAY, ten twenty-two in the morning. While waiting for the results of the items they recovered from the three different incidents, Gertrude and Velmont stood in their room seated on opposite chairs in front of a massive file of documents and photos of the crime scene. Reviewing and analyzing the victims' details. Trying to relive what their last hours might have been."I'm tired," Velmont says as he closes his eyes and tilts his head upward."This is by far the most dead-end case we've ever tackled." She responded as she slowly slumped on the chair."Yeah! The Omega killer sure does know how to murder, gruesome but neat. Perhaps too neat. It looks as if our killer took his time to display his victim's body, but what does it all mean?" He states as he heaves deeply, conveying his distress about the situation."There's no such thing as being too neat. We still have the silk, the book, and the relic." She responded with a hint of hope in her voice."What if the killer left them deliber
Twenty-four years ago…Hercule was ten years old when he first met Gertrude Fallis. Her face never changed from then till now. Never aged a day. He could vividly remember the day he laid eyes on her…At that time, his father was the Alpha of the Penumbral Sturgeon Pack. Always busy with Citadel Pharma. Neglected to be a father to him. One day he decided to run away to know if his father would notice or even care. Unbeknownst to him, the moment he got out of their home without his father’s Deltas, he would be abducted. Given that he is young, he has no proper training yet. He was easily subdued and thrown at the back of the van like he was nothing but a mere human. He wants to transform into a wolf, but he is immediately collared and chained with silver shackles. Leaving him helpless for the duration of the journey to a secluded area in an abandoned building in the middle of nowhere. He was kept in a cellar. In a small dimly lit room. Back leaning on the pillar. All of his limbs are b
SUNDAY: Six o’clock in the evening. The Omegas have just finished their training course, and it’s time for their sparring. They are divided into two equal groups and then paired with their sparring partners.Emily and EvieVesper and JollyLestine and BenSebastian and SanderAnd so on…Delta Dimitry found the activity a bit dull since they didn’t want to hit each other, and he found it unsatisfying. He called the Omegas, and they formed a circle around him. Listening to his new instructions. Meanwhile, Gamma Sevy was busy cutting the ropes that they would use.Shortly after, Gamma Sevy handed it to them, and they tied it to their waist. Then he starts to draw a huge circle around the ground while Delta Dimitry explains the mechanics of the match.“Tonight, instead of our normal boring sparring, we’ll have a little fun. Each pair will go inside the circle drawn by Gamma Sevy. Then you’ll try to subdue your partner. The game will only end if one of you falls out of the circle, or you ge
AT THE Manor infirmary…“I thought Jolly would win. I never knew you were that strong.” Sander says as an Omega nurse bandages the wounds in his knuckles.“That throw could have been executed better, but I saw that you hesitated at the last minute. What happened?” Sebastian pointed out.“I don’t know.” She responded as another nurse tried to stop the bleeding and put numbing cream around it."It's Qillalon Van Kirk's fault. If he had not been there, none of this could have ever happened. My blood boils every time I see him. He's scent and his face is a spitting image of his father." She thought to herself.“You got distracted. I saw your eyes move in Alpha Qillalon’s direction.” Gamma Sevy says mockingly.Vesper’s hand shakes a bit.“So you have a crush on him?” Sander easily said.“No!” She yells. “Ouch!” She winced as her adrenaline rush finally wore off. She could feel the severity of her injury and it was not pleasant. “It’s not that. There were just too many people in the audience
Several more years had passed in the hidden sanctuary where Vesper and Qillalon lived, far from the prying eyes of the world. The once-vibrant Alpha Qillalon had aged gracefully under Vesper’s care. Though he had grown frail, his spirit remained strong, and his love for Vesper never wavered.Vesper, having regained her strength, devoted herself entirely to Qillalon. She hunted food for him when his body grew too weak, shared stories of their past battles, and held his hand as they watched the moon rise together.“Don’t I sicken you? I’m an old man now… You’re kissing an old man.” He said playfully, but Vesper understood the pain in his words. She shook her head, “I would never feel that way. For me, you are as handsome as the day I saw you.”He chuckles lightly, “I’m going to die soon. I can feel it.” He uttered in a weak voice. Fear gnawing deeply in him. He doesn't want to leave her alone. She held his hand tightly, assuring him everything would be fine.He winces in pain. Age had ca
The 76th-floor council hall of the Citadel headquarters was packed, its towering stone walls echoing with murmurs of anticipation. The trial of Elder Mauritius had drawn every faction of wolves aligned with the Citadel. Accused of breaking the rules of the manor, Elder Mauritius stood shackled before the tribunal. His shoulders sagged, but his eyes burned with indignation.Elder Gilgamesh presided over the trial, his voice stern and authoritative as he listed Mauritius's alleged crimes. "Elder Mauritius, you stand accused of allowing vampires and even old blood to enter the Citadel Manor. Do you deny these charges?" he questioned.Elder Mauritius met his gaze calmly. "No."Elder John sighs, "Elder Mauritius, you stand accused of conspiring with the Black Order and betraying the Citadel. Do you deny these charges?"Elder Mauritius's eyes widened in shock but calmly replied, "I do. And I suspect you know the truth, Elder."The crowd gasped, but before Elder Gilgamesh could retort, Elde
The devastating battle in the Citadel manor had ended. It only lasted several hours but the damage and death were massive.500 Hunters. 50 Vampires.100 Werewolves.Gone—all because of a selfish act of a man.The Citadel had claimed victory against the Black Order. The battle had been hard-fought, leaving scars on the land and on those who survived. Yet, despite their triumph, the shadow of the Headmaster lingered. His escape was a bitter reminder that their work was far from done.As the Citadel forces returned to their manor, their celebration was muted by somber news. Among the fallen were two names that carried weight and legend: Vesper, the vampire of Old Blood, and Alpha Qillalon, the purest of wolves. The message spread like wildfire, shaking the Citadel’s ranks and casting a pall over their supposed victory.Despite the help the vampires provided in the war, their objectives were questioned by the Elders in the Headquarters and not only them but also Elder Mauritius.“How co
Quillion and Velmont trudged through the garden, their faces contorted with disgust at the grotesque scene before them. Blood smeared the marble statues, the ground soaked in blood. The white benches were painted red and the air reeked of decay.Velmont gagged, clutching his stomach, while Quillion steadied himself, his sharp senses catching a lingering trace of his son’s scent."They went this way," Quillion growled, his crimson eyes narrowing. Without waiting for Velmont, he dashed toward the Flatlands, where the scent grew stronger with each step. When he arrived, chaos unfolded before him. Alpha Qillalon and Vesper were locked in a fierce battle inside the vehicle with the Headmaster and his hunters. Both looked exhausted. Alpha Qillalon's fur turned red with mixed blood on his flesh.Vesper looked unkempt and as the wind blew in Quillion’s direction, he could smell her burnt skin. The Headmaster shrouded in a dark aura, unleashed devastating attacks, his sinister laughter echoin
The battlefield was a cacophony of chaos and despair, but for Alpha Qillalon, everything else faded when Vesper fell. Her crumpled form lay amidst the smoldering ruins, her obsidian eyes turned lifeless by poison. A guttural roar erupted from his chest, shaking the air as rage consumed him. He dropped to his knees, trembling, but it wasn’t sorrow that overtook him—it was fury. His thunderous growl echoed in the Citadel estate. Quillion’s heart pounded when he heard it. “What was that?” Velmont asks as they make their way to the second floor.“That’s my son. He sounded devastated,” Quillion explains.Velmont swallowed slowly, a knife twisting in his gut. “Vesper,” he mumbled as they continued their voyage to the garden.Outside…Alpha Qillalon, shifted to his wolf form. Bones cracked and stretched, muscles rippled, and his human visage gave way to the majestic and terrifying shape of a wolf. His fur, once streaked with silver, now gleamed a pure, unbroken white, as if reflecting the i
Vesper and Alpha Qillalon returned to the manor, the air thick with the scent of battle. The Black Order pressed against their defenses, relentless in their assault. This time, their goal was clear: to keep the enemy away from the digital room, where critical intelligence lay vulnerable.Vesper’s sharp claws gleamed as she fought alongside Alpha Qillalon, who was flaunting his majestic, powerful wolf form. Their movements synchronized in perfect harmony. Every strike, every step was a testament to their bond, forged in the crucible of countless battles.“Mate, we’ll hold them here,” Qillalon growled, his voice cutting through the cacophony. “They must not move past us.” He declared himself in danger.Suddenly, a shift in the battlefield drew Vesper’s attention. At the edge of the hedge maze, a figure emerged—the Headmaster, clad in dark robes that seemed to ripple with malevolent energy. He stood with an air of superiority, his cold gaze fixed on Vesper. The Headmaster had been watchi
Alpha Cain and Alpha Mercimer turned to their wolf form and carried the wounded and injured on their backs. While Alpha Zane remained in his human form, hugging his wife in his arms. He glanced at his fellow Alphas with an apologetic look as he couldn't offer help with the wounded.Alpha Cain, Mercimer, and Qillalon understood and did not comment on it.The other wolves and vampires help each other out. As they headed to the barracks, Vesper noticed a familiar figure in the crowd. It's Balthazar carrying Jolly on his back while helping Evie to walk. She hid her wings and descended beside him. “Balthazar,” she called out, her voice sorrowful but her eyes expressing death and murder. He stopped walking and so did Evie, “Vesper,” she uttered and gave her a hug. Without a care that her eyes were obsidian black. “They destroyed everything.” She cried out.Vesper shook her head, “They didn’t. As long as we can fight, we can always rebuild a home stronger than the first.” She says with cert
Alpha Zane pushed forward, his heart pounding in sync with the surrounding chaos. The metallic zest of blood filled the air, mixing with the thick smoke from the fires. His claws extended further, his wolf clawing at the edges of his control, demanding to be let loose. As he maneuvered through the battleground, Alpha Zane caught sight of two towering figures in the distance. Through the haze, he recognized Alpha Cain and Alpha Mercimer, their forms lit by the flickering flames.Alpha Cain, a mountain of muscle and fury, slashed through the hunters with his claws, his movements precise and deadly. The hunter's thick armor prevented his sharp claws from wounding them, but his strength was more than enough to damage their suits. His growls rumbled like thunder, each swing of his arm sending hunters flying, dying upon impact. Beside him, Alpha Mercimer fought with a controlled ferocity, his blade slicing through the air with an elegance that belied the brutality of the situation. The two
Alpha Zane blinked his eyes open, the world around him a blurred whirlwind of chaos and fire. His head throbbed painfully, his ears ringing from the deafening blast that had thrown him across the hedge maze. Smoke clung to the air, mingling with the acrid scent of blood and burning wood.“They pushed and cornered us in the hedge maze,” he mumbled. His sharp gaze quickly focused on the devastation unfolding before him. The barricade was breached. The armored vehicle and the tank advanced unconcerned that there were bodies on the ground and some of them were still alive. He saw one of his Delta reaching out to him. His eyes pleaded, but before the Alpha could extend his arm to save his Delta, the armored car ran him over. The Delta’s blood sprays on the Alpha's face.Soon, the hunters swarmed through the breach like a relentless tide, their weapons barking with deadly precision.Wolves howled in pain as they fell, and even the agile vampires couldn’t escape the merciless onslaught.
