ALPHA Qillalon was brought back to his senses when he heard Elder Mauritius' voice.

“Qilli, tell the Delta to prepare the cars we are heading home.”

He nodded and notified the Deltas. After a few minutes, they said that the cars were ready.

The journey back to the Manor was dead silence. Elder Mauritius looks exhausted and Alpha Qillalon seems gloomier now than before, heading to Citadel Headquarters. None of the wolves around their presence wants to speak.

Shortly, Elder Mauritius broke the silence.

“Do you remember what I told you before, Qilli?”

Alpha Qillalon glanced at the Elder, who was staring outside the window looking at the city lights.

“The vision?” He asks;

“Yes, that this day will be the day. Well…” He paused and Qillalon held his breath patiently waiting for him to finish. “That day ain’t today.”

Mauritius laughs.

Alpha Qillalon heaves a sigh of relief and then grins.

The golden charm is part of the sacrificial dagger they use in the ritual. Just by looking at the image in the book, the dagger does not correspond to any wound that was inflicted on any of the victims. The victim's wounds are clean-cut, but the dagger is serrated on both edges, giving it a unique marking once it is used.Based on the book, to make an offering to the goddess of youth, the ritual needs a dagger and a female sacrifice. The human sacrifice needs to lie inside a circle made of a combination of human ashes and lamb’s blood. A KNOCK disturbed Alpha Zane’s slumber and when he moved near the door a familiar scent entered his nostrils. He immediately opens the door and says:“What are you doing here?”“What kind of question is that? I’m here to visit you, my beloved husband.” Said Eleanor. As she flirtatiously moves her hands around Zane's bare chest.“You should have called me first,” he stated, his voice containing a mild annoyance. “Then it wouldn't be a surprise if I did that,” she exclaimed. She then pushed the door wider and entered the room. She felt offended at how Zane talked to her. She angrily sat on the bed. “Why are you acting as if you didn’t miss me?” She mutters, arms crossed. Glaring at him.“Of course, I miss you. I always do.” He declared and then sat beside her. Nuzzling her neck and caressing her thighs. He glanced at the clock and saw it was only four o’clock in the morning. “It’s still early, let's stay in bed.” He whispered to her ear, mischievously hinting at something dirty. “How

But it will definitely destroy her dignity and self-esteem. She sighed profoundly and yelled at herself, trying to justify what was about to happen next. It was purely because of the tasks at hand, “I will take one for the team. For the investigation, I just needed to overwhelm him with my weirdness when he gets preoccupied. I will use
