“..so why don't we bury the hatchet?"

Lucian finished giving his brief but heartwarming speech and the men glanced at each other when he was done and for a moment there Lucian thought perhaps his words had touched their hearts and they had a change of heart. However their outburst of laughter removed any such thoughts from his head.

”Hahaha..."

The men had a hard hearted laugh that lasted close to a minute causing Lucian to feel irritated.

“Really? Did you expect we would just forgive you and make peace with you and your race just like that? Then you are stupider than I have imagined."

The ugliest of the men spoke mockingly and that resulted in a frown on Lucian's face.

“Really stupid I must say." The shortest said.

”An uncultured, savage race ruled by a stupid king what a useless people." The tallest of the men said and that seemed to anger Lucian the most.

“You will show my people respect!" Lucian shouted in a deadly voice, his breath were like flames.
