“Hmm!” I exclaimed. “This tastes great. This particular Mac and cheese is definitely from the ones you’ve made before.”

“Thank you so much, Laura,” she said smiling. “I doubted the recipe while I was writing it, I never knew it would turn out perfect.”

“That’s the word! Perfect!” I finished my plate. “Can I have some more, please?”

“You don’t have to ask, take some more,” Cassey dished another spoonful on my plate.

“Can I say something?”

“Yes, you can.”

“Why don’t you serve your Mac and cheese at the party tonight?” I said.

“There’s a party going on tonight in the palace?” She asked, surprised.

“Yes, there is. It's to celebrate I and Killian’s return,” I continued. “And I think your delicious Mac and cheese should be served at the party.”

“Oh no, I don’t think Killian would like that.”

“Forget about Killian, I would like that. And I’ll like to see who’ll object to that,” I said bitterly.

“I don’t want to cause quarrels between you and him,” she said, facing down on the floor.
