Alpha Joe's POV

She remained astonished even after inquiring about the reason I had come to her home.

"I've arrived with an important matter to discuss," I stated. She cast a quick glance at me and then at Adrian.

With a hint of guilt, she hesitated momentarily. "P-please, come inside, my prince," she stammered, holding the door open. It was evident she was afraid, despite her attempts to conceal it.

I entered her home, with Adrian trailing behind. The living room appeared rather compact, with a central cushion and a small alcove in the distance, likely serving as the kitchen.

The house seemed somewhat disheveled, carrying the lingering odor of alcohol. Three empty bottles stood beside a stool.

Despite the untidy surroundings, I shifted my focus back to her. She didn't appear intoxicated, so the scent might have been a remnant from the previous day.

She cast her eyes downward, avoiding contact with me, clearly uncomfortable. Observing the state of her house, it suggested she might eit
