~Hazel's POV~

I heard knocks on the door, and with relief coming back into my body, I rushed to open the door and hugged Scarlett who was standing outside the room.

"Oh god, Scarlett, I can't tell you how relieved I am to see you."

"Hazel... What's - "

I pulled her inside the room and shut the door, securing the lock.

"Do you know where Liam is?" I asked her.

"Liam, huh? Is he your mate? Is our alpha your mate?" She asked with pure joy and excitement laced in her voice.

I wish I could return the same excitement as her... He might be my mate but he is dick to me.

"This is not the answer to my question," I sighed.

"Alpha is with his aunt. She is doing some questioning with him as he brought his wife unannounced into the packhouse," She said.

"But -"

I cut her off and asked, "All rooms of the packhouse are soundproof, right?"

She nodded her head, "Yeah."

Great, at least now I won't be fearing Liam hearing us ever.

"Hazel, what are you doing? First, you vanished to only goddess knows where and broke all your connections with me, and now you are back as Mrs. Hazel Wright... What the fuck is happening?" She said while throwing her hands in the air.

"You have every right to be mad at me but you can do it later, Scarlett. Right now I need your help. I need scent suppressants."

Her brows furrowed at the mention of scent suppressants, "Why? You know people of this pack already know you by your face not by your scent. Do you know how crazy they all going thinking about you becoming their Luna?"

I chuckled, I knew they would be going haywire.

"Listen, Scarlett, I will tell you everything but you have to promise me that you won't tell my truth to anyone. I will understand if you do not want to help me, I will not complain about it but please promise me you won't tell my secret to anyone. Including Liam."

Her eyes softened after hearing my voice which was on the verge of cracking up and she placed her hands on my arms, "Hey, you know I always have your back. I am sure someone would have done something nasty to you that you vanished into thin air. Just tell me who it was and I will kick his or her ass and make them apologize to you for their whole life."

"I am sure you could if it was someone else but... Your alpha... You can't," I chuckled bitterly.

"Alpha? Alpha Liam? What did he do?" She asked in confusion.

I took flowers out of all my pockets and sleeves and took her hand to my belly, "Feel it. Sniff it."

Her eyes widened in shock and she quickly took a long whiff of my belly, "Oh goddess... He... He impregnated you. How? I mean when? What happened? How you ended up with him?"

I made her sit on the couch and told her everything that happened on the party night. Tears started to pour out of my eyes like a heavy rain as I let out everything in front of her which I stored inside me for four months and I shut my eyes hard. That was the only night after my parents' demise when I slept peacefully after years but the next morning slapped me hard in the face and reminded me how bad fortune I have.

Anger, disgust, and hatred were evident on Scarlett's face, and after seeing how tightly her hands were bawled at her sides, I understood that she wanted to punch her alpha straight in the face.

"I wish I could punch that bastard straight in the face," She growled.

I giggled, I knew that.

"How could he do this to you? And now he doesn't even remember that he spent a night with you. How the fuck that is possible? I get that he has been sleeping around a lot and seeing a lot of women but..."

Her voice faded at the end and she held my hand with concern in her eyes, "I am sorry I didn't mean to throw the truth on your face like this."

"It's alright. I already know this," I said while forcing a smile on my face.

"You know I won't regret getting thrown out of the pack for punching my alpha and giving him a few bruises. We can start a new together," She said.

I laughed, "I know we can but right now I want to stick to the plan that I have for him and his people. I have two months and then I will leave. I don't want him to find out about my baby which is why I need scent suppressants."

"So, you have a human pregnancy?" She asked.

"Yup, I do. What else can you expect from me? I just have better sight, hearing, and sense than humans. Other than that, I am a human," I smiled at her while having a pang in my chest.

She shook her head, "And that's your power. That's how you can make him pay for the things that he has done with you. If it wasn't for this, you would have never learned about his true colors, none of us would have. Don't worry I will get scent suppressants for you but what about your belly? How are you going to hide it?"

"Don't worry, I already have enough clothes, and... Liam also offered to pay for the contract so I can shop for more," I smirked.

"Yeah, burn his money. Well, make him broke, he deserves this," She smirked back.

"But..."

She trailed off while thinking about something and then placed her hand on my belly, "I get why he is not able to know about the baby yet but how does he not know that you are his mate? I mean you are not any random girl with whom he slept. You are his mate. How can he not feel that? Also, if he wanted to get rid of his mate then why would he be denying to all powerful alpha females who were ready to be his wife and Luna? He told everyone that he would only make his fated mate his Luna. Not anyone else. Why... Why would he do that?"

I shook my head not knowing how to answer this.

"Even I was wondering the same... But... It might be possible that he just wants to play around with me and... What if he knows about the baby and brought me here for the baby? He very well stated that he doesn't want a weak Luna who can't even shift into her wolf so what else could be the reason?" I asked.

"And you still came here with him even after knowing that this could be the reason," She stated.

"Yes, because I want to destroy him. He broke my heart, tore me into pieces... Now I want to do the same with him," I said while looking into her eyes.

She nodded her head, "We will do it together. But first, I have to go and get scent suppressants for you."

"Yeah."

She stood from the bed and hugged me tightly, "Don't worry, I don't care what people think or say about you, but I am always with you. We are in this together."

I nodded my head with a smile on my face and hugged her tightly, "Thank you. By the way, how the Silver Moon wolves are keeping up with the news?

She started to giggle, "They are going crazy. Some are saying that you lured alpha with some witch's help, and some are afraid that they will be doomed now for calling you names and doing things with you."

"And that's going to happen," I smirked.

I heard knocks on the door, and by the scent, I knew it was Liam.

"Will you be okay with him in this room?" She asked in a low voice.

"As per the contract, I have to be," I said in the same voice.

"Do you think he would follow the contract?" She asked.

"I don't know... But I have to make sure he does," I sighed.

I again heard knocks on the door, and I nodded to Scarlett. She opened the door and bowed to Liam while radiating anger in her body.

Scarlett, don't do this!

Liam sensed her aura and gazed at her with a quirked brow which made Scarlett bow to him again, "I was just leaving alpha."

Liam nodded to her and looked straight into my eyes with some expression on his face that I couldn't figure out, "Yeah, you should. I want to talk to my dear wife in privacy."
