CHAPTER 68

ARTHUR

As Arthur woke up the next morning, he knew and remembered well when and how he fell asleep last night. Which meant that Mila didn’t enchant her, which was good.

Things had progressed so much last night but then Mila had backed out. They had had sex, but not the one that results in the mating ritual.

Damn! He should have fucked her when she was begging him to. Then he would have known what was running through that complicated head of hers. Arthur sighed.

He turned and found the bed empty. There was a food tray next to the bed, but Mila was not there. Shoving some food in his mouth, Arthur got dressed and walked out. He expected the palace in the similar state but it was changed. The feel, aura of the palace felt like same as his own back home, and in some places, it felt even better. Arthur sensed Mila’s hand and magic in making it better.

People too were happy now. A lot of laughter was echoing around the halls and he could hear children playing in a distance.
