With the current lack of security around the pack, Ellie had already considered sneaking out of the house to search for William, only to then remind herself that a witch was also present in this pack. As if that mental reminder wasn't enough, at one point, she tested the window to see if there was any sort of witchcraft done to keep her here, tossing a piece of meat from her lunch delivered to her.
