One long passionate game of soccer later, training has ended for the day. After taking notes on some of the promising werewolves that caught his and Teach's eyes to recruit for patrol, William took Ellie away from the group. As they left, Ellie could've sworn she saw some of the werewolves hiding their grins or smirks, clearly assuming that she and William will be spending some time together as a couple. How she wanted to correct those thoughts, if not for their identities, especially their leader. Still, for all she knew, maybe William will try to make her... 'submit' to him. To her astonishment, the Alpha truly did take her to his home, to his office. Being in the same room as William- in his own home, no less- made her really nervous, fearing for what will come next. "S-So... Why am I here? In your home?" she stuttered out, praying that it was not what she thought it was. "Relax. I did not call you here as my mate, if that's what you're thinking," William assured, as if reading h
"You've a favor to ask of me?" WIlliam repeated with a raised brow. When he asked Ellie to join him for a meal, he had hoped to make her feel comfortable and more at home in this pack. Given the life Jen told him she apparently had, as well as the recollection of the state she was in when he found her in that pack, William figured she may have become anxious of everything, even with Ashina and Morgan by her side. He and Jen may have assigned those two to be her wardens due to them being the only ones who know about how Ellie tried to escape, but the Alpha also knew one of the two had a really kind soul, while the other was more or less extremely neutral about anything and everything, making them perfect guides for outsiders. "Actually... The favor I want to ask is not really for 'you', per say," Ellie corrected with some hesitance, trying her best to not be nervous with what she will say next. "I know I shouldn't be asking you this, but I was wonder if Jengo can take me in on his spe
It was clear how displeased Jengo was to see Ellie here. Alone with William, no less.‘Why the hell is she here…?’ he wondered.“Jen. Impeccable timing you have,” William said.“How do you mean, Alpha?” Jen asked.“Because Ellie here has a favor to ask of you. Don’t you, Ellie?”Jen glanced at the female werewolf, half wondering what she may want to ask, half uninterested in wanting to know what it is.Ellie hesitated when she saw the rage hidden in his eyes. As much as she wanted to ask him to train her again, she feared what his response will be. Rather, she feared what will happen after. Should she ask now, there was a big possibility he would agree to it, but not out of the goodness of his heart. For all she knew, he could either lie and not train her after, or give her an unreasonable training schedule to work with. No matter how she thought of it…“Actually, I can deal with it on my own. No need to bother your Beta.” She was not confident in asking him for this.Jengo was slightl
Once Ellie was out of William's house, she sat on a bench in a secluded area in the pack, greatly worried about what was going on in the Alpha's office between him and his Beta. 'I can't believe I caused a horrible understanding...' she thought. 'I know I should go back in there and try to fix this, but...' But what? How can Ellie fix a relationship between two werewolves? Especially when one of them believes her to be his fated mate, and the other rejected the bond they had? Or at least believed was between them. No matter how she thought of it, there was nothing she could do to mend what she did. Even more so if her being there will risk worsening things. Besides, during her time back in the Hermit Pack, she had never seen a couple fight over anything. Not even she and Steve had an argument, especially as she often wanted to respect the things Steve wanted to do, within reason. 'If I go in there and try to fix things between them, if William gives an apology first, Jen will most c
Back in William's office, the Alpha and his Beta sat in a seat, on opposite sides of William's desk. While the former was simply staring at his partner, the latter grew nervous in this silence. It did not help that there was that little outburst of his earlier. Towards his boyfriend's mate, no less. Although there was never a time when William got mad at him, Jen feared that this time would be the first it happens. "William... I can explain," he spoke. Jen did not go far in his words as William raised a hand to keep him silent. "Jen... I am going to ask a very simple question that needs a simple, honest answer. Have I been unfair to you at all lately?" he began. "No! Of course not!" Jen answered. "You may have been busy these days, but I wouldn't call that being unfair at all." "Then why are you acting like I am?" At that follow-up question, Jen went silent again. "Jen... I know you are worried about us, about whether or not I will eventually succumb to my mate bond with Ellie and
Early morning the next day, Ellie awoke and made her way to the training ground. She wanted to get some extra training in before Ashina and Morgan came to get her, but sadly, there was no other place big enough for her to have that luxury. Besides, they usually come to this area first before anywhere else, so might as well do her extra training here. ‘So I think but… what should I start with first?’ she wondered. Ellie wanted to get a good workout done, but she didn’t know where to go about it. She could do some warmups to start, but those don't seem to be much help for her, even if she were to technically do them twice a day. Perhaps she could do the training she used to do from the Hermit Pack? Then again, she wasn't sure about using one pack's workout in another pack. More so, the workout from the very pack that used and betrayed her. She may as well be betraying herself if she continued to do their ways. "I guess I can start with a jog. Kind of wish I can go out the perimeter to
"Sure. I'll tell you my reason. If you tell me the real reason why you want my special training to start with." Ellie looked down at Jengo's question, unsure how she should answer that. "If you can tell me that, I will answer your question. Refuse... Well, I'll leave that for you to ponder on," Jengo said. The way he said that last part sounded much like a threat to Ellie. Would he report to William about what she'll say? She could definitely see that happen. Especially if she kept silent instead of answering the question. "Still won't answer, I see... No matter. I am not here to interrogate you. I'm here to train you, so-" "There's someone I want to beat," Ellie interrupted, surprising Jengo. "You want to beat someone? That's all?" "You ever even bothered to wonder why I looked like a mess when your Alpha brought me here? There's someone I want to get revenge on. For everything they did to me." Jengo raised a brow. She wanted to beat someone out of vengeance? No... Sounded mor
It had been a week since Jengo agreed to train Ellie again. Unlike the first time she was put through the special training, Ellie did not have that hard a time going through them. The regime was the same as last time, and they were extremely challenging, but her body was not screaming in agony throughout the process. Even Jengo found it amazing how she managed to keep up with him, albeit barely. In the time the two werewolves spent together training, the relationship between them also improved. Things were rocky at first, but after working out the first few times, the pair finally got along, somewhat. One would not say they were friends, but at the very least neither were hostile to one another. Seeing them at this way, without any sort of conflict going on between them, caught many by surprise. Specifically those who thought/knew those two would never get along, given their relationship with William. Speaking of the Alpha, he has also noticed the change between his mate and Beta. A
