The Beta's Fate

Meanwhile, with Jengo and his group of Nex Werewolves, the Beta was getting dragged quite far away from Ellie and Lyra. He struggled with all his might against his captor, Hayden’s, grip, however the young werewolf kept his claws punctured in Jengo’s arm, making it impossible for him to even get loose.

“Why you…! Let me go!” Jengo shouted, managing to swing his free arm and his captor’s, clawing him and causing him to release his hold with a whimper. In the process, however, Jengo skidded to a halt on the ground, and found himself surrounded by the other Nex Wolves.

“Still got some fight in ya, don’t ya?” Jayden said. “Here I thought with how pathetic those other werewolves were, all mutts outside the Nex Pack would be so disgustingly weak. Then again, I suppose your pack has quite a strong reputation, compared to those dead ones.”

Jengo’s eyes narrowed at those words. “What do you mean?”
