When the night came, Alec thought of eating in the kitchen, when he saw the arrangement there, it was as if nothing had happened that Haley almost burned down this morning. If Felix hadn't seen what was happening there, and told them, the whole house might have burned down.
Alec was eating at the kitchen when Gamma David entered there, the two of them became silent causing Alec to looked at his companion and noticed that he was deep in thought, causing him to speak.
"So, why are you here? Do you want to say something?" David looked at him and based on his face he hesitated to say what was going through his mind.
"Is it about the she-wolf that you're looking for?"
"No, it's not about Alpha,"
"Then, what is it? Tell me so we don't waste time here."
"It's about the ," he looked at him, "Are you going to find your Luna by that time, Alpha?" That question made Alec stop.
By the way, he suddenly lost that thought in his mind because he continued working earlier after Timothy and Haley left his office.
He lost his mind about that. "Depends if I really need it." he answered here. "And I feel like it's still too early to find someone like her this time. I feel like I still have a lot to do, with the people of my territory." he added.
David just looked at him after he answered his question. "Alpha, it's not that I'm interfering but as a citizen of your territory, we're just worried because it's been a long time since you last introduced someone to us. We're also just worried because you always put your people first, what about the yourself? What about your happiness, Alpha?" Alec stopped at what David said.
Of course, what about his happiness? What about himself? But he was committed to serve his people, he promised himself that when his father gave that territory to him as the next Alpha he would do everything to follow in his footsteps. And as the years passed, he noticed that all his hard work as the Alpha of the Dark Moon Pack did not go to waste. That's one thing he's thankful for. But hearing those words from his Gamma, he suddenly felt that, yes, what about his own happiness? He established his name as an Alpha, power and money so that his people will live in a comfortable life. Dealing and communicating with his friends or other Alpha's and more people outside of his territory and to the Vinizia City, he was maintaining all of that.
And now he didn't expect those words from his own people. He smiled. He looked at David and he looked at his smiling face in surprise.
"I didn't expect that my people would be concerned about me as their Alpha,"
David suddenly frowned because of what he heard from him, "Alpha Alec, we're not saying this because---"
"David, don't worry. And thanks for telling me this. I have a lot of work as the Alpha of this territory, but this is the first time that my people are trying to tell me that I need to take priority of myself too, especially having relationships or finding the Luna for myself and for this territory."
"It's my duty to tell that, Alpha. And I'm not saying you should also find the woman who deserves you, I know it takes time."
Alec leaned back in his seat, "Yeah, it takes time and it's hard too because I need to think more about that, I'm not abandoning my responsibilities for you all but finding someone like her this time is so hard for me,"
"Is it because it's been a while since you last introduced a girl to us?" Alec suddenly thought about what David said to him. He suddenly thought of the last woman he had introduced to his Gamma and Beta, as well as the people within his house and territory.
Their relationship lasted for several months and he thought it would last but like other relationships, he was wrong. Her boyfriend left her, the reason? He said it was no longer happy for him. After that, he never looked for another woman to love again, because he knew that if he did, he might forget his responsibility as the Alpha of his territory. At the same time, he promised himself that he would do everything to provide what his people needed.
"Maybe, but that's also why I gave all my time and attention to do my responsibility for my people. Then as I found out my friends got married," he laughed at the last words. He still remembered when he found out about the marriage of his friends, he found out about their marriages one after another, so in the end he was left behind.
"So you were left behind?" David also laughed when she asked him that.
He shook his head as he remembered them, "Yes. But I don't regret it, because just seeing my people in good condition is a different kind of satisfaction for me, because I fulfilled my promise to myself. But I also feel different happiness because finally, my friends have found the Lunas who will be with them until the end."
"You're right, Alpha. But right now, knowing and seeing the person meant for you, it will also give you a different pleasure,"
"I know, David. But I'm not in a hurry. There's a time for things, there's a set time for them. Maybe it's not really for me yet, even though inside... I really want that kind of feeling. But because you know me, I'm not just going to take any girl out there to introduce to everyone that this will be the Luna of my territory, that this girl will be your Luna. Not like that. So I'm asking Moon Goddess that whoever the woman he gives me, wherever she is right now, I hope she is in good condition."
David smiled, one of the reasons why they think highly of Alpha Alec is because he has a word. because it's not like the men he knows who when changing women it's like changing clothes. He cares about each one, maybe that's the reason why he still hasn't introduced any women to them, because his attention is focused on them.
But now, one of the things that Gamma David is looking forward to is having someone to be with their Alpha. David feels that person is coming and he can't wait to see him be happy. After his conversation with David, he said goodbye to resume patrolling with the other pack warriors of the Dark Moon Pack.
Alec went back to his office to see if there was anything else he needed to attend to. But when he probably had nothing else to do, he decided to return to find out the movements of those guarding the gate of his territory, in the west, south and east. While walking back to his house, Alec immediately mind link with Felix to find out the situation in the east, but he was stopped when he heard from Felix what his fellow pack warriors had seen.
Near the eastern border, a man, unconscious and full of scars and wounds all over his body.
When he heard that, he wanted to go to find out and see who that man was. It entered Alec's mind that this might be one of those who caused trouble in Timothy's territory, but Beta stopped him because the pack warriors were on their way to take the man they saw to the hospital. Alec went straight there, every step he took was big, he wasn't sure what he was feeling, but if he could confirm that it was one of the people who left damage in the South, he might kill him immediately.
When he arrived, the pack warriors immediately gave him access to see the man inside the hospital. He saw the man lying on a white bed and was currently being examined by a she-wolf doctor. He knew that doctor, he waited a few minutes.
And when the doctor finished examining the man lying on the bed and when her eyes looked at him, he prepared what the woman would say next. "It's negative, Alpha. He's not part of those people from the South." After she said that they were sent out of that room because they had to clean the unconscious man and check his condition.
Alec looked at the pack warriors who were there and Felix who had just arrived. "Tell me everything." They went out to the hospital to talk. "How did you find that man?"
"Two of the pack warriors found him lying on the floor. They thought he was dead but they saw he was breathing so one of them immediately mindlinked me. And when I arrived I checked him first because he might be one of those who attacked the South, but I can't tell if he is one so I would have told you what we saw, luckily you were the one who mind linked me so I could tell you what we saw right away." Felix gave him a long explanation.
This is the first time they have seen something like this on the eastern border. It was also surprising because he didn't feel that he was one of the ones they were looking for.
"If he's not one of them, how did he end up in the east? And he still looks ragged and full of wounds?" he asked in surprise.
"We don't know either, Alpha. I know it's not easy to get to the border just like that." Yes, he knew that, so it was a great surprise that they saw an unconscious person there.
"Alpha, I wonder too, but I hope he doesn't get in the way of the Dark Moon Pack, because otherwise---"
"Don't worry, Felix. I'll take care of him." Felix and the other pack warriors accompanied Alec to the place where they saw the man. His gray eyes instantly lit up as he stopped at a specific spot where the man they saw was lying.
His senses spread all over the place, he felt his surroundings but he couldn't feel anything out of the ordinary. He also smelled the air, and he was immediately stopped when something sweet passed his nose. That caused him to frown. That smell was strange, it was the first time he smelled it in his whole life so it was surprising that he found it here.
"Alpha Alec?"
"Do any of you wear perfume?" he asked back to his companions. They suddenly stopped, blinked and looked at each other. Even Felix was stopped by what Alec asked them.
"N-no one wears perfume with us, Alpha? Why? Is there a problem?" Felix asked him back.
Alec didn't answer but his brow furrowed even more because of that, so where did that smell come from? When he returned, he ordered the two pack warriors to let the man stay at his house. Felix and David would have protested because of Alpha's wishes but they didn't do anything to stop it either.
The she-wolves at that hospital had already cleaned, dressed and treated the strange man. He also learned from the she-wolf doctor that the unconscious man was malnourished and his entire body was full of scars, he also had new wounds that were immediately treated and what surprised them most was the large scar on his back.
The doctor immediately gave it a cure and it will take a few more days for them to disappear because its regeneration process is weak due to its weakness.
Alec had so many questions in his mind. Where did the man come from and why is he malnourished? Why is his body full of scars and wounds and why does he have a scar on his back? What happened to this man before he ended up on the eastern border of his territory?
Those were the questions that didn't leave Alec's mind until he fell asleep. He needed to know everything, he needed to know who it was and where he came from as soon as possible.

KEN'S POV ••• “Why are we here?” I asked Shiena beside me. After we ate, Shiena suddenly grab me to go somewhere. At first I don't where she was taking me but I trust this girl, I trust her instincts. “We are in the most valuable thing in this territory. Alec's library!” She exclaimed while running through the old bookshelves. Turning all the lamps that are placing on the every corner of this huge library, then my eyes widened on how huge this place. I don't know that they have many books that are hidden in this room. I think the room full of books that Alec bring me is his personal library. "What do you think?" She asked while wiggling her eyebrows. I smiled and nod at her. When I looked up the ceiling, I saw a painting... what is that? "Oh? I forgot about that!” She pointed at the painting that I was looking. "There's a myth from our ancestors saying that If we started to see a new beginning or something new in our life, it means that the moon goddess are telling us t
I just stared at his gentle face. I don't understand myself because when I meet new colleagues I don't interact with them like this. But with Ken... there was something about him that seemed to hypnotized me. I don't understand. I'm confused. I'm can't really... "Maybe I'm just going crazy." I whispered into the air. When I saw the empty seat near him, I sat there. I looked again at the man sleeping in front of me. If someone see me right now, they will think i'm stupid or idiot looking at the person sleeping in front of me or maybe they will think badly at me. But I'm not here to know their opinions about me. I'm here to stare at his... beautiful and pretty face. When I feel Ken's presence, I think I can rest better. Should I just lay beside him right now? My body is telling me to just sleep right here, right now. “Are you still surprise?” I was surprised to hear Nebula speak. I still remember the first time he asked me if my knee hurt because I tripped while runnin
"Why do we have to talk here when we can just go to your house?" Timothy complained after we arrived at William's big pack house, the Alpha of the North. I didn't say anything and just closed the door of my car because the three of us with Orion had almost arrived. I told them that we had something important to talk about, they asked what it was and why we had to go to the North just for the talk I was talking about. I just didn't speak again and left them waiting on the other line. I thought they wouldn't go as I thought especially since they didn't seem to have any intention of going even if I forced them. But well, they're here already. They also want to know what I need to say. We just entered the big pack house of the Dark Twilight Pack, led by William and one of the strongest packs of werewolves in Vinizia City. That can't be denied because of the size and good pack house that Dark Twilight has. When we entered, the Omegas and Pack Warriors were immediately lined up on
Alec's POV --- I was stunned after hearing that from Ken. What the hell did he say? Is that one of my mistakes? That doesn't sound like a mistake to me. It was all because I wanted to help him, it wasn't a mistake. "What do you mean? Wrong? I am helping you. So you think what I did was wrong?" I asked seriously while staring into his two blue eyes which were also staring back at me. But after that... I felt something on my throat. Like something was preventing me from speaking. I saw how he lowered his head and avoided my gaze. Shit! I didn't mean it to be wrong! "W-wait... I didn't mean it to be---" "It's okay Alpha. I'm wrong... I just said everything because I don't want to be a bother to you." My fists are clenched. I don't want him to feel like he did something wrong, but I... did it. I simply sighed, closed my eyes and after a while I decided to approach Ken. But as soon as I opened my eyes, a strong blow from my head almost knocked me to the floor. I was sho
"D-did something happen to us?" What? Because of Ken's question to the man who was standing next to his bed and was not wearing a top, Alec's face immediately turned red. He knew what the man was thinking, who seemed to be confused by what was happening, wonderingly looking at him and his body without wearing anything. Because of the thought, Alec bowed his own head and his shoulders almost shook because of the excessive laughter that wanted to come out of his mouth. Ken was restless thinking why he was in bed and why he was next to the bed without a top cover. Even though he looks like he doesn't know about things, he probably knows when there are two people in the same room, and seeing Alpha Alec without clothes, he already knows the reason. But it's just a wonder why he doesn't feel any pain if something really happened to the two of them? Why does he feel so light contrary to what other people say that it hurts at first? But the last one... why does he think it hurts? Whi
I walked out while Felix followed behind me. "What will you command me, Alpha?" he asked as we walked the long way out to the large cell where I could hear every whimper and plea of those I imprisoned here. "Put the soldiers guarding the Mansion at the left gate and send the guards at the left gate right here inside. I need to talk to them." I ordered. I stopped in the middle of that dark hallway and Felix continued walking. Until I heard the door open and close. My fists clenched at the thought of my soldiers doing what I forbid within my territory. They don't deserve to be rewarded, they don't deserve to be my soldiers. Nina's screams and pleas echoed throughout the cell, making noise for everyone. Her screams are filling my ears, she was begging for me to come back and forgive her. If she wants to, why didn't she think about it first before doing it? Why is she still showing mercy where she has already committed a sin? Why would she shout now for forgiveness when she
