Isabella’s POV

I stood there, still in Claire's mother's warm embrace, my mind reeling from the unexpected discovery. The words rang in my ears: "Your parents are royalty." My eyes widened in disbelief, and I pulled back slightly to look at Claire's mother, wanting confirmation.

"Wait! What?!" I shouted, my voice a mix of confusion and shock. "I don't get it. How are my family royalty? I thought Isabella was lying to me, but hearing this from you... I don't know what to believe."Claire's mother nodded, her face serious yet filled with empathy. "I understand, Ava. It's a lot to take in. Your family, your parents, are of royal blood. You are part of a lineage that carries a lot of weight in history."

My mind raced as I tried to understand the information. Royalty? It seemed like a far-fetched thought, something out of a fairy tale. I glanced at Claire, hoping for some clarity, but her friend's eyes reflected a mix of understanding and pity.

Isabella looked at me, worry etched on her face. "Sure, Ava. Let's go." She led me to her car, opening the door for me. The car journey was silent; the hum of the engine and the odd sound of
