After the introduction, we headed to our table, filling in the two vacant seats prepared beforehand by the Wind Winders Wolf Pack. As I sauntered down the stage, I felt as though my heart was freaking ready to jump out of my chest when I stood in front of that large crowd of ten different packs looking up scrutinizing me.There was a loud, ringing sound reverberating through my eardrums as I walked side by side with Alexander, his strong, calloused hand clasping mine so tight as he led me straight to our table. At one point, my eyes wandered to my old pack's.

‘It’s them,’ Ares growled lowly, spotting Barbara and Paula boring holes at my chest, glaring at me with eyes full of jealousy and hatred as they watched Alexander tug at my hand softly.

Something was not right. I could feel Ares pace back and forth inside my head as though she was desperate for air. Suddenly, a low growl erupt from my chest. I shot my eyes up then towards my surroundings, thankful it was not heard by any
