Adrian's POV

My stomach grumbled and turned but there was nothing I could do to stop it. 

"Adrian!" Someone called me, but there was no strength left in me to answer whosoever called me.

"Adrian! Adrian!" The person kept calling and calling.

"What is it?" I was forced to say slowly, as I looked around, my eyes fell on the envelope laying away at the corner. I was to check it yesterday even though I knew what the result was except it was fabricated which wasn't. My heart was beating fast as I opened up the envelope to read it's contents.

It was as I expected, negative! It baffles me that that bastard, Alex knows my parents and still went ahead to do a DNA test for Vanessa and I.
