Chapter 43
I paced around as thought of what happened when the Silvermoon pack came to me. It's believable if Max truly helped Amelia run away but there is this doubt in me that doesn't believe him.
I walked to the bar as I poured the umpteenth drink, in one gulp it was gone. I rang Adrian up to get me feedback on what was going on.
I decided to move outside to see how the pack was running. The pack house was unusually empty, even the maids were not in sight. As I approached the sitting area which was accessible by all and every living creature in the pack, I saw Adrian walking in, in a haste. Where was he rushing to?
"My Lord," I heard him say immediately as he entered.
"So what's going on? Have there been any discoveries?" I asked him as I stopped to look at him.
"We haven't noticed any strange movement yet and Darius has gotten back to us yet, so we don't know anything yet," he said.

Amelia's POVCrystal Ball Pack! Was that where I am currently? The poster that was on the large wall reads Crystal ball pack. I looked around and everything seemed to be made out of wood. We walked through the eating area as everyone in the room just minded their business. Is this how people don't give a shit in this pack? Is this normal or what? Adrian's POV "Do you have the seal?" Dr Peter Peterson asked me immediately as we entered the office which belonged to Dr Felix. "Yeah, I do!" I answered but I was looking at Dr Felix. "Can we get this done as soon as possible?" I said before turning to look at Dr Peter. The papers were brought out and with the Alpha King's seal and my signature, the paperwork was done in less than ten minutes. "It was nice having you here," Dr Peter said, stretching his hand towards me, I reluctantly took it with a forced smile. "It was nice being here," I said to him. "It was nice working with you, my regards to the Alpha King," he said as we released our hands. "Yeah, I will do just that," I replied back as I gestured to Nurse Margarita for us to return back to Vanessa's room. "I will be there shortly," Dr Felix said as we moved out. A little while later, he came running behind us. Such an old funny man! Nurse Margarita and I made our way back to the ward with Dr Felix directly behind us.
